Beautiful setting!

Loved our stay! The house is lovely, and super clean and comfortable. Perfect setting on the water; we enjoyed the kayaks provided, as well as hanging out with the wildlife on the water. Close enough to drive to the island for beaches and restaurants. Host was super helpful and made check in/check out easy. We would love to return next year!

Nice house

The house was very nice and modern. It was well stocked. Beds and furniture were comfortable. I really enjoyed the porch and outdoor sofa. There were a lot of spiders on the ceiling entering the unit from the garage. Would have liked for them to be cleared out before our arrival. Overall we had a nice stay and I would recommend this property.

Hidden Gem

Honestly the pictures do not do it justice! This place was breathtaking! My family and I absolutely loved the views from the deck and all the things there was to do at the house. Kathleen had everything you could need for your stay. We enjoyed coming back from the beach each day and relaxing on the deck looking out on the water. This place is truly a hidden gem. We will be back for sure!

Kathryn was a lovely host who has a beautiful home. We ended up feeling like it became our home away from home. If available we would love to come again next year:-)

Summer vacation

This was a perfect get away for July 4th. My family and I were very excited to have a place on the water with water sports like kayaking and corn hole to play at night but the fire pit. It was serene and quiet. We enjoy the turtles coming out in the morning. The drive to the beach was perfect and we were able to enjoy the beach each day. The house was great! Updated and beautiful views of the wildlife refuge and sunsets. Each bedroom was perfect with lots of towels and bed linens comfy. Definitely a must for a family to enjoy days away!

Birders' Nest

Comfortable house, wonderful deck perfectly perched above a healthy, thriving marshland sanctuary. Had lovely time hanging out together watching birds/sky and taking great photos!

Great place to get away!!!

The location was perfect for quiet relaxing mornings and good proximity to drive to the beaches easily! The host provided everything we needed. Beds were comfy. The kayaks were an awesome bonus--we had so much fun on them to get some good exercise in to start our day. The porch was a great place for morning coffee and reading a book. Such a relaxing, worry free vacation. Will definitely come back!!!

Great view, very nice property

It was very relaxing both being inside, or sitting on the deck outdoors, overlooking the creek and grasslands. The birds and sunrises were spectacular. The house is very comfortable, and nicely laid out. Having access to the dock and kayaks was an added bonus. The owner is very responsive and exhibited a genuine interest in our having an enjoyable stay. We also enjoyed its proximity to LBI and nature preserves.

Great place in a perfect location.

Great time had by all!

Beautiful spot right on the water! Our kids were crabbing and fishing every chance they got. We had no problems and would definitely stay again. The kids are already planning next year's trip!

Family with young kids - nice quiet location!

I stayed with my husband and 2 small children. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It was also an easy drive to LBI! It was a great experience!

Relaxing stay with a beautiful view

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was in a great spot, close to places, yet remote and peaceful. Check in was simple and there is convenient parking/driveway. There was space in the garage for us to bring/store our bikes. The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything you could need to make the stay easy. It had an updated/modern kitchen and appliances. Bedrooms had comfortable mattresses. We enjoyed evenings with kayaking. We also enjoyed lots of wildlife, heron, swan and other birds to watch in the water. It was fun to try crabbing on the dock. Our stay was exactly what we were looking for and would love to stay here again if we came back to the same area. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy the space!

Perfect Property!!

Absolutely amazing property! The location off the beaten path was a dream and unlike any "shore" experience we have ever had. The house is all brand new and the pictures didn't even begin to do it justice. We loved kayaking through the bay area and the wildlife was great! Only recommendation would be letting the guests know ahead of time or at the time of booking that they need to bring all linens and basics. Katherine was very easy to get a hold of. For sure hope to be back at this property!

Family get away

Went for the weekend with my sisters to recharge and just have a fun girls weekend! The house was perfect, beautifully redone, gorgeous deck and stunning views. We caught some amazing sunrises and sunsets! It is further off the path, but it’s perfect if you want to enjoy a quiet weekend while still being a reasonable drive to the beach and nightlife!

Peaceful and Beautiful!!!

This unit was perfect for our young family. The kids loved fishing and crabbing off the back dock and the house was really beautiful. The setting on the preserve could not have been more peaceful. We will definitely look to rent this home again in the future. We loved everything about it!!
