A peaceful quiet place on the bay. The only negatives were there were a lot of stairs so if you were bringing up groceries or heavy suitcases or if you had an elderly person in your group or an elderly dog, it was a lot to get up and down every day. Other than that, it was about 28 minutes to the Long Beach Island beaches seven minutes to a grocery store a quiet street to take a walk on and beautiful sunrise and sunsets.

Our stay was wonderful - the house was immaculate and the setting idyllic. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to visit again next year. Check in was simple and amenities were amazing. Loved this stay.

The home, location and amenities were fantastic. Serenity by the Sea is an appropriate name for a beautiful home, outdoor deck, yard, pet friendly and dock that provided our family with the ability to relax in a quiet setting. Bird watching, Fishing, Crabbing, Kayaking and a 20 minute ride to LBI were some of the key features. We had initially planned more time at LBI but enjoyed the setting so much, we adjusted to spend more time at the home. Kathryn was fantastic as a Host and everything was organized so effectively. Very responsive. We will definitely look to come back at some point in the future! An awesome experience

Beautiful, convenient spot!

If you'd like easy access to the shore as well as a calm body of water for kayaking and SUP, this place is for you! Clean, comfortable, accessible. Lots of amenities. We'll stay here again.

Shore home in Bay with Dock

Great house, on the bay, with a dock. Really enjoyed kayaks, stand up paddleboard, Lilly pad. Short drive to LBI/ beaches. Host was great

Beautiful and peaceful

My grandson enjoyed fishing off the dock and I loved the covered deck to watch the water fowl and boats go by. The house was beautiful with all the amenities we needed.

Amazing place and great experience

Kathryn was a lovely host who has a beautiful home. We ended up feeling like it became our home away from home. If available we would love to come again next year:-)

Beautiful setting!

Loved our stay! The house is lovely, and super clean and comfortable. Perfect setting on the water; we enjoyed the kayaks provided, as well as hanging out with the wildlife on the water. Close enough to drive to the island for beaches and restaurants. Host was super helpful and made check in/check out easy. We would love to return next year!

Birders' Nest

Comfortable house, wonderful deck perfectly perched above a healthy, thriving marshland sanctuary. Had lovely time hanging out together watching birds/sky and taking great photos!

Great view, very nice property

It was very relaxing both being inside, or sitting on the deck outdoors, overlooking the creek and grasslands. The birds and sunrises were spectacular. The house is very comfortable, and nicely laid out. Having access to the dock and kayaks was an added bonus. The owner is very responsive and exhibited a genuine interest in our having an enjoyable stay. We also enjoyed its proximity to LBI and nature preserves.

Serene getaway

My family and I celebrated the July 4th weekend in West Creek. The home was immaculate and well stocked. We enjoyed meaningful family time - playing games, including Connect Four, and kayaking the creek. The porch was very comfortable - views of the estuary were stunning - turtles, various birds. The home was conveniently located from Long Beach Island and Tuckerton. We welcome the chance to book this West Creek haven again, soon!

Great place to get away!!!

The location was perfect for quiet relaxing mornings and good proximity to drive to the beaches easily! The host provided everything we needed. Beds were comfy. The kayaks were an awesome bonus--we had so much fun on them to get some good exercise in to start our day. The porch was a great place for morning coffee and reading a book. Such a relaxing, worry free vacation. Will definitely come back!!!

Hidden Gem

Honestly the pictures do not do it justice! This place was breathtaking! My family and I absolutely loved the views from the deck and all the things there was to do at the house. Kathleen had everything you could need for your stay. We enjoyed coming back from the beach each day and relaxing on the deck looking out on the water. This place is truly a hidden gem. We will be back for sure!
