Sugar Beach Condos are walking distance to restaurants, shopping, Gulf Shores festivals, and beach activities. We also have an onsite snack beach bar available. Sugar Beach is an economical, family-oriented Orange Beach condominium complex. One of the areas most popular vacation destinations. We have four pools, a tennis court, covered parking and a large beach!

Our family has been taking care of vacationers to Alabama’s Gulf Coast for over 25 years. Sugar Beach Condos is probably the most family-oriented complex with so many fun amenities!

This unit is Gulf Side, not Gulf Front. You do not have to cross the street to get to the beach. Although you do not have a view of the gulf from your balcony, all you have to do is walk down the hall to the elevator -- down the elevator and you are on the beach!

This Sugar Beach unit sleeps 2 adults & 2 kids. It has a Queen Bed plus a Hide-A-Bed Sofa in motel-sized room. It has a full kitchen, bathroom & private balcony. This is a great budget-friendly way to enjoy a beach vacation. We, however, do not typically recommend these units for 4 adults or families with older children simply because of the lack of privacy and space.

Fantastic Service

My fiancé and I had a great time staying here, Don Taylor kept us well informed and provided timely responses to any questions we had. The room was perfect and I will definitely be looking at Sugar Beach as an option going forward!

Anniversary trip

We arrived and was able to get right in the condo. It was small but just as it was pictured. The owner was on site so when we needed anything he was there right away. The condo could use some updates such as paint and the ceiling needs fixed in spots that were falling. Other then that we would definitely stay again in the future with this owner as he has several other condos. This was our first time in Orange Beach Alabama and we loved it.

Love Staying at Sugar Beach

Sugar Beach Condo is conveniently on the beach and is minutes from all of the restaurants and shopping. I love that they have multiple pools, grills, & the Sugar Shack. The property manager, Don, made sure we had everything that we need and that we could call if we needed anything. We had a great time!

Nice place

I enjoyed staying at the Sugarbeach condominiums. It’s simple and has cute decorations. I felt welcomed being there. You cannot beat a friendly service and the price is wonderful!

20 year anniversary

Our stay was great! Don was very helpful and he let us know that if we needed anything, just call him day or night. Our studio was a little dated but it has everything we needed. Full kitchen and bathroom. Ice cold AC, comfortable bed, TV, etc. The pools are nice and it's a short walk to the beach. The sugar shack has good food and beverages as well! All said, for $99/night we will come back again! The whole experience was awesome!

Don was wonderful! He called us on our way in to make sure we knew the process of checking in, we had to call him shortly after arriving because we lost the key and he responded quickly and was very very nice about the whole situation. Great location with beautiful beaches! We will return in the future!!

Great place to stay

This is the second time staying at Sugar beach. We love the condos here. It's big enough to feel like a getaway and small enough to still feel like a home away from home.

Condo conundrums

Our property manager was extremely accommodating, our room had a awful smelll upon arrival so we were moved rooms but due to the problem of having not a room available for the length of our stay, we had to switch again halfway through our trip. Multiple pool closures at the condo complex resulted in no one knowing where to go tanning/swimming for three days. The construction that was occurring 10ft from the property(and our balcony) began at 7 am and didn’t finish until 7am. We couldn’t have the door wall open or use the balcony at all. It was so loud you couldn’t talk over it and the dust that coated everything wasn’t worth wiping down every two seconds. We spent majority of our days outside of the condo doing activities bc the condo was such a disappointment. I’ve stayed at sugar beach for 10 years and never have had an experience like this before

We loved Sugar Beach's location, pools, and beaxh. Lartigue's across the road is a big plus.We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay, but the 202 condo needs repairs.

All furniture was very old and outdated. (especially for the rental price). The surrounding properties were much better. We left 2 days before our reservation expired. Finally, this was the first time I have ever stayed in a one bedroom condo. which turned out to be a 1 (one) room condo!!

Orange Beach

Mr. Don is a very attentive host. The unit we stayed in was not what we were looking for and is in need of a major update, but the pools and beach were nice and very well cared for. I suggest calling Mr. Don as he can help you directly as using VRBO is way over priced for the accommodations received. The location has several nice places to eat in town.

Renovations needed

The room is in desperate need of a deep cleaning as well as a much needed renovation. Tub is cracked/busted and water is leaking under the floor tiles and wood baseboards and door frame in bathroom is rotted. Popcorn ceilings are peeling off and there are many poorly patched spots on ceilings. Walls need to be painted and many of the light bulbs were burned out. Water heater needs to be adjusted, water is so hot it could easily scald a young child and the owner could be liable in a law suit. I would recommend that this condo be taken off rent until renovations are done. It’s way to much money to pay for a place that’s in such bad condition. There is also no deadbolt or night latch on the door so it’s not very secure.
