This home is in a rural part of the NH Lakes Region. We are within 15 minutes of many amenities, but the home is situated in a quiet area. You'll be able to enjoy the quiet, country life, while still being close enough to many of the areas most popular attractions including both Lake Winnisquam and Lake Winnipesaukee, Weirs Beach, and you can attend the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Additionally, you can attend great events at the BankNH Pavilion in Gilford, where you will hear world class music and more! In addition to this, there are several ski resorts, including Gunstock in our area! Head over to a concert at the local Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on the Winnipesaukee River or take a cruise on the M/S Mount Washington cruise ship around picturesque Lake Winnipesaukee. Locally, we also have local attractions like the Canterbury Shaker Village or end the evening at the Hermit Woods Winery with friends.

You'll have full access to the apartment in front of the main house. This includes the area right in front of the house, the patio area right next to the apartment, and the apartment itself. All other areas are used by the family living on the other side of the house.

While here on your get-away vacation, we encourage you to enjoy the beautiful New England surroundings and all New Hampshire has to offer with friends and family. Sanbornton is centered in the Lakes Region part of New Hampshire and is surrounded by lakes, multiple ski resorts and close to Loudon NH Motor Speedway for NASCAR racing September 21st.

Our home is perfectly situated for enjoying the outdoors at any time of year. Many people like to visit in the summer, but our home is perfect for a winter getaway! We are surrounded by many excellent ski mountains. Gunstock Mountain is 23 minutes away, Ragged Mountain is 43 minutes away, and Tenney Mountain is 43 minutes away. There are a few other ski resorts within an hour drive that are all worth checking out. One of our favorite winter activities is checking out local breweries and vineyards. There are several delicious breweries all within a 30 minute drive of the house, some of our favorites being Shacketts Brewing Company, Vulgar Brewing Company, and Defiant Record and Craft beer. Hermit Woods Winery and Eatery is also nearby and serves superb food and wine. And of course, you can always start a fire in the wood burning fireplace and watch the snow fall!

In the summer, we are just a mile away from Sanbornton Town Beach, a sandy beach right on Lake Winnisquam. We're also a 6 minute drive from Winnisquam Marine, which provides boat rentals for both Lake Winnisquam and Lake Winnipesaukee. Laconia, known for restaurants and shopping, is just a short 13 minute drive and Weirs Beach is only 25 minutes from the property, which has another sandy beach, as well as a boardwalk, arcades, wonderful eateries, go karts, and more! Attend local attractions like NASCAR racing at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway or enjoy music and comedy at the BankNH Pavilion in Gilford.

has great live music and carnival rides. Love mountain biking? Highland Mountain Bike Park is only 24 minutes from the property. Of course, you're welcome to enjoy a staycation on the farm and enjoy that classic New England rural experience. For staying with us, you will receive a jar of fresh honey from the bees on our farm to take home with you.

The home itself is super cozy and is perfect for any time of year. In the summer our mini-split units will keep you nice and cool and in the winter, the wood burning fireplace is absolutely wonderful. There are beautiful wood built-ins and all of the furniture is incredibly comfortable, especially the beds! We're sure you will love your time in our home no matter what you choose to do!
