We were so happy with our stay at Housers Crossing. I loved having coffee each morning with the herd of deer who walk through the property regularly. Our host helped us get train tickets into Jim Thorpe, which was absolutely amazing! My kiddo enjoyed the quiet hammock in the woods for reading, and my husband loves the walking trail. What a beautiful, serene location! We loved our lodging. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed to cook instead of go out to eat. Not to mention lovely! Thank you, Carolee! We so appreciate everything you did for us so we could just relax.

Peaceful relaxing stay

Thanks Carolee! The grounds were beautiful and it was quiet. The host, Carolee, was super nice and attentive. She knew of all the nearby attractions. The place is clean and renovated. It seems like there are more renovations to come, this place will only get better ! Thanks again.

When you cross the bridge and enter thru our private gate you are surrounded by the village's ten acres of hiking and walking trails that leads you then to over 3,400 acres of PA State Game Lands (known as the Wildcat Mountain). If that wasn't enough, the Little Schuylkill River runs through our entire property with beautiful walk paths that lead you right down into it.
