We had such a relaxing time. Wildlife everywhere that we could watch. Sitting on the porch enjoying the mountain views and gorgeous weather. Jacuzzi tub was nice and relaxing! Close to the town of Luray. Perfect weekend get away!

Beautiful peaceful property! Loved the wrap around porch and morning sunrise. I would love to visit this home in the fall to see the colorful trees. We saw bald eagles, baby foxes and so many other birds. This was a very peaceful stay. Close enough to town but pretty secluded. We would absolutely return.

The lodge is truly beautiful with gorgeous views. I really enjoyed having coffee on the front porch rockers overlooking the valley while my dog was free to roam the grounds and still be within sight. You have everything you need to prepare meals if you wish to stay in and you are very close to downtown Luray. The reason I didn’t give five stars is because the lodge could use a deep cleaning and the listing shows waterfront and waterview. The river cannot be seen from the lodge. But there is a short walk down the driveway to the river. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Peaceful Retreat

Very quiet, it’s a shared driveway, but you wouldn’t know once you’re there. It’s very secluded but also close to some great places. The hot tub was amazing, and a very cozy place for our honeymoon.

We had a good time at the Lodge. The weather ended up being warmer than expected, so we got to enjoy hiking and seeing the caverns. The Lodge sits on top of a very steep hill, with a beautiful view. The steep drops made enjoying the property with an active toddler pretty nerve wracking. I thought there would be much more for her to explore on the farm. The hot tub, pots and pans, and the blankets could have used a second cleaning before we arrived. Overall, it was a cozy cabin and lovely long weekend!

Great Family Vacation

This was exactly what we were looking for in a family vacation. The cabin was spacious, clean, and secluded. The wrap around deck was perfect and the views were amazing. The location was ideal It’s ten minutes from downtown Luray and 20 min from the Thornton Gap park entrance. Patricia was an excellent host, when we found out the first morning that the coffee pot was cracked she ran a new one up to us that morning. I can’t recommend this enough for a family retreat.

Luray Duathlon weekend getaway!

Great cabin with a beautiful view, hot tub, and river access! We drove down to another spot that was easier to access the river, but loved our stay in the lodge! We hope to book again in the future! No complaints other than the steep walk down to the river from the house. 👍

The Perfect Weekend Away

We enjoyed recharging our batteries with our weekend at the lodge. Beautiful home and views. We loved sitting at the firepit catching up with our dear friends who came along with us. Lots of fresh air and laughter. If you need a get away, I highly recommend this home.

Great Location

If you are a hiker this location is perfect for the Thortan Gap entrance to the Shenandoah National Park. Mary’s rock was a beautiful hike, Dark hollow falls and Stoney Man are all close by. House meets your needs for an easy weekend getaway totally unplugged. No WiFi.

The BEST Vacation Ever!

The property is very spacious and beautifully designed. The sunsets and night star gazing were a few of our favorite views. We were able to bring our cats and they had the time of their lives exploring around the few rooms they had access to. This was the most relaxing and amazing trip we have had. I highly recommend this cabin. We will be returning with our son next year.

Cabin is great! Awesome view outside via large wrap around porch. Campfires in the evening. Kids catching crawdads and fishing on the beautiful river down the hill behing the cabin. Super safe, super quiet. 20-25 min drive to Shenadoah River Outfitters for rafting/tubing and about the same to get to Skyline Drive. Lots of stores (big box and local) are convenient within a couple miles. Overall great location and great cabin. Super easy and cozy
