The Coral Door is meant to reflect the atmosphere of its location. Private unit with two bedrooms, one bath, and a full kitchen. We have everything you need from pots and pans, to linens. The Coral Door is the REAR UNIT and also has access to the back yard for added privacy! One block off the main street, you're within walking distance to everything, but out of the busyness of it!
Pets are allowed with a $125 pet fee per dog with a maximum of 2 dogs total.

An adorable condo that we enjoyed. The back yard was perfect and the short walk to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants was a lot of fun! We couldn't ask for a better host! Easy check in and amazing communication and response time.

Great dog-friendly location

My spouse and I had a wonderful time here with our dogs and it was the perfect location to walk to the beach and other local attractions.

Generally a very positive experience. Inside is clean, nice, and spacious. Area is quiet and short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Service was friendly, professional, and for the most part communicative as needed. Had a few extras such as a beach cart and drying rack that were appreciated. A few items would have made it better though, such a dresser (or really any clothing storage) in the main bedroom, ice cube trays, and more than 2 chairs for the dining room table. Also better internet (spotty and slow) and improved communication on landscaping (woke up at 9am to find landscapers mowing the lawn and getting grass all over our belongings) would have been appreciated. Overall though it was a positive experience and we would consider staying again if we’re ever back in the area.

Quaint little cottage

This was our first time staying the the coral door and we had a great time. Unit was clean, kitchen well stocked and it was close to all the things. Would recommend and would certainly stay here again.

Great location

Property was exactly as described and I had everything I needed for my stay. Short distance to walking path along Cape Fear Boulevard. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful location and great hosts!

This was an amazing stay and we will certainly be back whenever we can! We were able to walk to the CB Boardwalk and several restaurants. Short drive to the grocery store and Kure Beach pier. Any issues we had were quickly answered and fixed! We love this property!

Short stay

The property was very clean and in a great location. Only issue I had was the flooring was cracking and coming apart ( to the point it would trip you).

Great Property and Owners

Great location and well supplied. Had one very small issue with the door lock and the owners were all over it! Great people, great coms etc. Highly recommend it.

Very clean, convenient and comfortable. Extremely child friendly and kitchen was in great order thank you very much. One request would be a charcoal grill in the back yard, that would really tie it all together. Switches for overhead light/fans were a little confusing at first. My kids loved the bunk bed, great setup.

Nice Staff

Overall the property was just as it was listed. However, there were a few cleaning aspects that I didn’t love. The drawers in the kitchen were very dirty. Some of the dining ware were also not very clean. I found myself washing things before using, which is fine and making sure it’s extra clean. However, the bunk bed room and other bedroom were super comfortable and everything was there. Could use more towels depending on how long you stay. There are tons of mosquitoes outside in the grass everywhere, which is expected and has nothing that the owner could control. The neighborhood was quiet and people were super friendly. Thanks for an awesome stay!!

Exceeded expectations And extended our stay!

Very cozy and roomy. The coral door had all the amenities for us to enjoy your stay. Can you play located? Most things were just a few blocks away clearing the beach shops, grocery store, restaurants and entertainment. barely drove our car while we were there. The leasing company Carolina properties were fantastic and quick to respond for any questions. We had a minor plumbing incident and they were able to send a plumber the very same day. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy your stay at Carolina beach. However, if I was to give one recommendation there are no laundry facilities at this unit. If you’re planning a long stay, however just a couple miles away there is a laundromat which is clean and efficient. with good machines it’s easy to get your laundry done quickly and get on with your stay. To summit up, I would highly recommend this unit and would return again for a future stay

We had an amazing stay and we will definitely be looking to try and book with yall in the future. But there were some minor things that can be improved. Nothing that we couldnt handle ofcourse. For starters the lights in the master bedroom wouldnt come on, we assumed the bulbs went out. Secondly we couldve adjust the temperature in either of the rooms and with it being 100 degrees. The rooms ran on the warmer sign, for my fiancé and I we were fine but it was abit of a struggle for a toddler than sweats easily. But we made do with the box fan that was provided. Lastly. I know it was said the rooms are cleaned after each visit but there were a few things that made it seem like the job wasn't done correctly. Aka No new dish sponge, drying rack abit sticky and the knife sharpener from the block was in the master bed(???) Like actually folded beneath the blankets and sheets. Lol weird I know, just dont think it should have been there if the bed was remade aha. These are just things we feel you should know!!Otherwise we genuinely had an amazing stay, we loved being close to the boardwalk and the people everywhere were so extremely nice!!We will definitely be booking again in the future! Thank you!!

Thank you for staying with us. We're really glad you enjoyed your time. A few things we probably could have assisted you with. The lights in the master are plugged into the table, just a switch will turn them on. The overhead light/fan are on the remote in the wall. The AC unit in the room is high/ low cool with levels 1-7. Turn knob. The highest settings equates to about 65 degrees. The ACin the bunk room is a touch screen with multiple settings, with the lowest setting equivalent to about 65 degrees. You definitely should not have needed to be uncomfortable by any means in any room. We would have been happy to help you, if we knew you were having challenges. I'm very concerned about the kitchen knife coment? Everything comes off at turnover. Sheets, blankets, comforters. Everything.. So, I'm really uncertain of how that could even occur? That's extremely puzzling. In the future, please reach out to your host. They can generally offer assistance to questions and concerns. Reviews don't populate for 14 days after you vacate.
