Villa Pamplona - Best Views of Gulf and Private Lake from Three Levels of Decks!

To address the things mentioned in the review. There are four smoke detectors on the main floor. ONE of them was taken down by a previous guest. It was Fourth of July weekend so I couldn’t get a person over to get it during their stay. When asked for pictures of where the ants where to identify which kind as well, guest could not provide any pictures. When inspected after there stay there was no evidence of any ants. The guest was annoyed I could not get anyone out immediately to address the issues. Again, notified of these issues Friday night at 10pm. New oven that was delivered right before their stay was faulty and have since returned it and got a new one. No mention ever of the place not being clean. Would pass on having this guest back.

The only thin I have to say about Jennifer and her family is that I feel like that they are family and they are so courteous and clean and respectful !

These were the worst renters I have ever had. They were clearly aiming the entire time to complain to get their stay for free. They initially rented the home for two nights. Then a couple weeks before their arrival wanted two more nights. I had no issue except they wanted the two additional nights for 75% off. Once I declined, she had an issue with me not wanting to extend her stay two extra nights. The listing states that there are games for kids, not a game room. There are pictures of every room in the house and there is nowhere to even state that there is a jetted tub. Again, all pictures are updated as of this year. All televisions are in working order but they could just not get two of them connected to the internet because of user error. I walked them through it over the phone until they got them connected. My internet app confirmed all was connected. They then confirmed that all televisions were working and further stated that the home was very clean and there were no issues. They were the rudest people I ever had encountered as they berated me and passed the phone back and forth yelling about two of the TVs not already being connected to the internet and that they had to take time out of their vacation to do connect them. I wish I could show the texts messages proving my case. They asked for money back and threatened to leave me a bad review if I didn't. I have been blackmailed and I can't believe VRBO allows things like this to happen without recourse.
