Lovely Llama-Stay Farm Cottage

About this space
Llama Stay is a large restored, sun-splashed mid-century brick home with oak floors, chef's granite kitchen, designer decor, memory foam beds, off street parking--on 1.25 acres (half is bamboo forest). We are a working, urban rescue farm with a chicken coop. Rescued llamas and alpacas roam across the side fence, next door. East Atlanta Village is 1.5 miles away and offers great eateries, bars, shopping. Experience the best of both worlds with country out back and city out front.
The space
We understand that life happens. As a small business and rescue farm, we hope that you understand our need to maintain a consistent cancellation policy. We recommend purchasing trip insurance that covers expenses from last-minute cancellations of lodging and transportation due to theft, medical, weather etc. Travel Guard is an affordable option to ensure you’re covered in the event of the unexpected.

Our space is large, airy, and boasts four bedrooms and 2.5 baths, a large deck, and a beautiful granite/stainless chef's kitchen. We are in City of Atlanta, just a 15-minute Uber ride to the airport and 7 miles from the attractions of downtown (Aquarium/ Coca-Cola). East Atlanta Village is a vibrant, eclectic area just 1.5 miles away with tons of tasty eateries, bars, and shoppes.

But, when you're out in the back of the cottage, you'll overlook our huge spacious yard, chicken coop, rescued llamas and alpacas (over the fence, next door) and bamboo forest. We keep our llamas and alpacas away from kids under 12 for safety purposes (they are gentle but still big), but you are welcome to feed them at the gate. They will recognize baby organic carrots!

Our cottage is on over an acre of land, which is unique and lovely for the city.

But enough about the location and the setting. The inside of the home has been thoughtfully and mindfully decorated with original oil paintings and art, memory foam mattresses, high thread count sheets and comforters, beautiful antiques, WiFi, flat screen tv with both Sling packages, 4 beds plus our leather couch, and 2.5 bathrooms. And don't forget about the fun you can have with the ping pong table in the garage!

You will have the entire house and private driveway. I (or our farmsitter) have to let the chickens out of the coop in the morning and put them back in the evening.
Other things to note
-No smoking inside the cottage. Smokers will incur a $300 fine.
-Absolutely no parties.
-The animals love baby organic carrots if you are interested in getting close to them.
-extra guests must be approved and will be charged $57 fee extra per person.
