You will love this charming, luxurious log home, It has everything you need for a Recreational Getaway in the Rocky Mountains. This Equestrian Ranch is Horse, Dog and Kid Friendly with game room complete with video games, large screen tv and sauna on site to boot!
Sleeps up to 8. Bring your horses and Ride the Rockies! A Hunter's Perfect and Convenient location and great access. 5 minutes to Lake Catamount and just 10 mns to Steamboat and 10 mns to Stagecoach Reservoir for boating or fishing and hunting. This Ranch is privately owned by an outdoor enthusiast with pride in ownership. The Ranch consists of an outdoor riding arena, round pen, a safe barn with 4 box stalls and 3 paddocks, separate pasturing areas, rv or trailer parking with electric hookup available, lots of room! The use of these additional facilities requires permission in advance and may have additional costs associated. No Horses? No Problem! Two Tranquil Ponds to watch the kids play or throw a stick for the dog. A wrap around deck with pergola to watch the horses graze or other wildlife while having a coffee. A private hot tub to soak in after a long trail ride or day of skiing or other activity of choice. An outdoor firepit to roast marshmallows and make s'mores, all within a completely fenced and safe area for your dogs. A beautiful gourmet kitchen completely equipped to prepare a fabulous meal. You and your family will feel so comfortable here you will want to stay! In the great room settle into a soft and comfortable couch, cozy leather chair, build a fire in the gorgeous rock woodburning fireplace, Eat dinner with family or sip a glass of wine in front of a roaring fire. The Master bedroom has a comfortable king bed with high quality linens. It walks out to the front deck and hot tub, it has a clawfoot tub with shower and a small office with wireless internet and printer. The unique upstairs bunk area offers a comfy double bed and two singles again with fine linens and down comforters. It has tv with a dvd player too. Go downstairs via a sturdy log spiral staircase to the family and entertainment area, watch a movie on the BIG screen on the large leather sectional sofa in front of a cozy stove, play video games. Relax and unwind in a cedar sauna. This level has a bedroom with a queen bed and bath with glass steam and multi sprayer shower. There is also a laundry and dog wash on this level for your convenience. This is a working ranch and there are lots of farm animals that need consideration. Second Time Staying

We love staying here! It is always a good time when staying here. We enjoy the views and the large fenced in property. The property manager is very easy to communicate with.

WOW!! Our 4th summer trip to the Steamboat area and this property certainly checked all the boxes for us! We had plenty of comfortable room to spread out. We had a great kitchen and dining area to all gather. We had a fenced yard for our dogs. I had that wonderful porch swing bed, because I didn't want to share. Wonderful views! Right on a well traveled gravel biking route. Close enough to town, yet quite enough to hear the horses talking to each other. We hope we get an opportunity to book again!

Great Thanksgiving Week!

This is property is great, it's secluded enough that is it quiet and bright stars at night, plus an easy drive into Steamboat, even during a snowy event like we had. Nothing like sitting in the hot tub while it's snowing! The downstairs is great with the big screen TV, game room, and sauna, it's such a great place to relax!WIFI is solid for everyone's needsThere were a few hiccups but the property caretakers were great and everything was taken care of. We are looking forward to booking this Sweet Air Ranch again!

Little piece of heaven!

Our family had a fantastic time spending Christmas together in this cabin. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you may need to cook a meal for a larger group. We loved spending time downstairs, playing the Galaga arcade game and enjoying the bar space. We also took full advantage of the sauna and hot tub! The best thing by far was our daily visitor June, a dog in the neighborhood. The owners and caretakers were extremely responsive and helpful, and we feel so lucky to have spent time in such a beautiful space. Cannot recommend enough!

Great time, great location. The nice part was everything at the property was top notch and functional. Hot tub preset at 102. Dishes and cookware are great. Coffee, games, TVs, entertainment in the basement all top notch. Comfy beds. Easy. Thanks for a great experience.

Beautiful Getaway

Absolutely fell in love with this property, stunning! The amenities are fantastic (especially the kitchen for cooking "family" dinners and the sauna/game room). Yard was great for the dogs and the hot tub had a beautiful view. There was a blizzard while we were staying here that likely blew the cover ajar from the hot tub as well as made getting out of the property on the last day very difficult (heads out the window driving through snow that was up to our rearview mirrors immediately to either side of the car), however this is by no means any fault of the host! Would stay here 1000 times over.

Log home in a little slice of heaven

Indeed a beautiful log home in a valley of green pastures surrounded by snow-capped mountains! Truly a slice of heaven enjoying the views in the hot tub or sitting on the porch rope swings or bed swing reading a book or taking in the views. This place is so relaxing after hiking to Fish Falls or walking along the Yuma river to the multiple hot springs in Steamboat Springs. Our grandkids loved the upstairs sleeping loft and the downstairs game machine and foosball table or throwing footballs outside. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to prepare meals. Roasting marshmallows in the fireplace to make s’mores was a highlight for the grandkids and adults as well. We loved this slice of paradise. Thank you

Best place we have ever stayed at through VRBO

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and represented honestly on everything they said on VRBO. Management was amazing! The hot tub was fantastic. The floor plan was nice and open. The games down stairs added to a lot of fun. This is definitely our favorite VRBO stay ever. This is the first time we have ever given 5 stars on everything about our stay. The only 2 things we were disappointed with were because we have 2 toddlers with special needs. 1 the knife drawers being in easy reach of our toddlers and no safety locks available. 2 there is no way to keep them from opening the front door (no deadbolt) and going outside. We were on high alert for these 2 things but still had a wonderful time. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had a fabulous vacation. The cabin was perfect. There were multiple areas outside on the deck to enjoy the spectacular views. The entertainment area downstairs provided everyone a lot of fun. The kitchen was exceptionally stocked. Communication with the hosts was easy and prompt. We will definitely return to this great place.

This was our second stay at this property. Large enough for our family of seven and the dogs love the large fenced in yard. Location is great! Close to any activity you want to do whether it be hiking/fishing in the Flat Tops Wilderness area, playing in the water at Stagecoach State Park, or spending time in Steamboat and or any of the places beyond. Property Manager lives on site so is available if you need her. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and quiet property. 15 minutes outside of steamboat. Lots of horses, cows, sheep, turkey, chickens etc. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. The house was clean and well stocked! It also has air conditioning which was so nice for my older dog!

Private, Peaceful, Paradise

Absolutely beautiful home with stunning views from every window. We loved soaking in the hot tub while taking in the beautiful, pastoral landscape. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and feel at home.The caretakers were thoughtful, responsive and respectful of our privacy - always available when needed, but never intrusive. The location is ideal: close to town for convenience, yet it feels wonderfully rural and private. Plenty of space for walking, relaxing and enjoying the quiet sounds of nature. The horses in the pasture out back were lovely to see while sitting on the expansive deck with a cocktail or coffee. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.Thank you for the memories and we hope to stay again!

This was our fifth time staying at this property and, although we love it here, this time it just seemed a little neglected. Almost like the cleaners didn't finish their job. The thermostat needed batteries, so did a few remotes, the space heater on the lower floor didn't work and the replacement barely worked and was dirty and the house could use a good dusting. There was also cigarette butts outside the lower floor door, the grass needed to be mowed and the outdoorgrill was dirty. The caretakers on site were great, responsive - brought batteries, a spaceheater for the bedroom and mowed the grass. I am not one to complain, but it just wasn't up to the usual standards. Besides those things, we enjoyed our stay! Our kids always enjoy the gameroom, our dogs love the fenced in property and meeting the horses. The hottub under the stars at night and coffee on the deck are the best things! The seclusion and views are amazing. Thank you!

Gorgeous property perfect for a group

We loved our stay at this beautiful property in Steamboat Springs. It was excellent for a small group, with one large kitchen and living room area upstairs, and then another large basement downstairs with a common area for playing games, a movie night, and more. Extra bonus points for a beautiful wraparound porch with a hot tub with gorgeous views! Would love to stay again.

Wonderful Mountain Getaway!

We had an amazing spring break at the house. The caretakers were so helpful, the house is great and the proximity to the ski mountain was awesome. We will definitely be back!

A Great place to stay

We had a great time. The log cabin was just as identified. Host was very accommodating. We were there for 6 weeks. Great location. Already made reservations for next year.

Great Steamboat Cabin!

This cabin is in a great location for accessing Steamboat, and has tons of amenities to keep the kids and parents entertained.The owner and caretaker were extremely responsive and welcoming.Our only complaint - Some critters (probably mice) are taking refuge from the cold in the walls/ceiling. They are very busy late at night and it was a little hard to sleep in the downstairs bedroom.Other than that inconvenience, the place is amazing and we had a wonderful time!

Amazing 360 degree views!!!

Everyone in our party agreed this was one of the best VRBOs we have ever booked.The house is gorgeous inside and is perfect for families! We had 4 couples in our party and everyone had a comfortable space. The kitchen is so well equipped with everything we needed to cook after a long day on the slopes. The proximity to downtown steamboat is super convenient yet just far enough away to feel like you are secluded. The host was super responsive with all our questions and the caretakers were there with anything we needed. We will 100% stay at this property again! Thank you for sharing your special place with us.

Great Stay

The house was amazing. Nice and quiet. It was wonderful waking up in the morning and seeing the mountains and horses. The downstairs was awesome with lots of games to play. I recommend this beautiful home.

Amazing relaxing location

The view is amazing. The property was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub is a very nice but cracking in multiple places with no head rests so I hope it’s on the list to replace soon. It’s a very nice touch as the sun rises!! Truely one of my favorite parts. A couple people loved the sauna and Used often. Very nice washer and dryer. Supplied with all toiletries needed and any Kitchen item you would want. Only real issue, as children were so upset, no batteries worked, if they were even in the remotes. Downstairs alone there is 5 tvs! Easy fix, we just replaced the batteries in what we used but just a suggestion for housekeeping to double check lights and batteries. And reminder I myself to pack extra next time I use Vrbo. Lots of wasp nests on deck area. But they never bothered us. Being said, that is stuff you’d expect to happen. Would go back to this same property again. Would use the agent again. Such a beautiful place. Steamboat is just breath taking in the summer. Would love to see this place in the winter. It’s truly a dream property. The horses have amazing location to graze. They are friendly and let you pet them. The owners of the horses being bordered are nice and introduce you to their horses up close. I could go on and on about the good and truely listed the ONLY negative aspects of house. It’s amazing is the perfect statement.

Family get together

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The house had everything we were looking for - comfortable beds, plenty of seating in the living room, a well-stocked kitchen, and plenty of room for our group of 7 (including our toddler grandson) to spread out. Plus, the views from the huge deck were stunning. We can't wait to come back next year!
