Great place for family

My family and I spent a wonderful vacation in this home over Thanksgiving holiday. The house is fully stocked and spacious. The accommodations were perfect and we had a wonderful time.

The house and property was an excellent venue for the family vacation that we had envisioned with our family.My only suggestion would be that the homeowner consider installing a generator to complete this excellent property.

Creating a place where families can gather, relax, and make lasting memories is exactly what we hope to provide. We also appreciate your suggestion. Unfortunately, Mother Nature threw all of Connecticut a curveball during your stay with an unusually severe storm that caused widespread power outages throughout the area. Thankfully, our utility company worked quickly to restore service and kept everyone updated on their progress. While this was certainly an unfortunate interruption, it was an isolated event and not something we've experienced before at the property. We're so glad you were still able to enjoy everything the home and lake have to offer, especially the beautiful setting and refreshing lake breeze. It was a pleasure hosting your family, and we'd love the opportunity to welcome you back for another stay under calmer skies!

What an amazing experience!

We hade such a great time. The place is phenomenal. The amenities are excellent. The hosts are responsive. The area is easy to navigate.Could not have asked for a better stay!

Perfect family destination

Great location for a family vacation. The house was so much more than we imagined. This house had a great waterfront area to swim, play, and relax. Amazing views and very beautiful home with ample room for the family. Hope to return again in 2025!

Perfect lakefront getaway

We just wrapped up a fantastic stay at this beautifully appointed lake house on Candlewood Lake, and it was the exact getaway our group needed. We traveled with another couple and our young kids, and the accommodations couldn’t have been better. Kitchen was stocked with cooking essentials with a near by stop and shop. Lakefront is great for the fire pit and the dock is perfect for lake access. 10/10

Beautiful location, meticulously appointed home comfortable enough for adult family and visiting friends!.iTrip management very responsive to anything we had questions about during the week! Will definitely stay again - hope to visit seasonally to explore the area year round!
