The property is located with a stunning view from the deck and fire pit area. The cabin was very cozy and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend this property.

Very pleased with stay and experience. Host was beyond helpful always checking up and seeing if we needed anything. Questions were answered fast. Very accurate description and listing. Cabin very secluded from other ones and peaceful.

What a GEM of a place, stunning views from the hillside and a front row seat to beautiful sunsets. The cabin is cozy, warm and everything you need. Only 10 minutes from wonderful downtown Brookville and about 25 minutes to Cook Forest. The firepit area is well lit and there’s firewood on site so no need to hunt any down. A few neighboring cabins on the hillside, but enough space where you have a private and secluded feel. Peter, the host was on top of everything from our booking through our stay. Couldn’t recommend this place enough for a weekend getaway or even longer of a stay.

Really great place to stay for a few days to “glamp”. Everything was super clean, beds were comfortable and all the basic supplies (paper towels, TP, hairdryer, soaps, etc) were there. We loved the hot tub too. We had a little trouble with our code working at check-in but it was quickly resolved by the property owner. The only kitchen item we were missing was a strainer but we worked around it. Overall we would definitely come back and either stay at this cabin or one of the other 4 or 5 that were in this location. I’m glad I found this listing.

Beautiful cabin located on a very quiet, gorgeous mountain top perch with incredible day and night time panoramic views. The cabin was thoughtfully appointed with easy access to everything we needed. A torrential rain on the metal roof one evening added to our magical time. Our initial trip up the dark mountain road late the first night added to the mystique of our experience. We all loved the visit and plan to return.

Rustic Vacation

We came here to visit family and escape the heat and humidity in Central Florida and boy did we. The property looks like a tiny house, but suprisingly has three sleeping areas and a combination kitchen setting area all made of natural wood, looked like hewn knotty pine. Quality workmanship, we wouldn't be surprised if the house was built by the PA Dutch or Amish. The deck (see attached picture) was our favorite spot to lounge on in the evening, Saw turkeys, deer, rabbits, and squirrels and even heard some coyotes in the distance late one evening. Occassionally because of the lay of the land and the wind direction you could hear trucks on I-80, but NOT to the point where it was distracting or annoying.The property lived up to it's billing and we would be willing to stay here in the future. Very relaxing and comfortable.

The cabin was clean, comfortable, and the perfect place to unwind. There was some trouble with the code while checking in but the host was easy to contact and fixed it immediately. We would definitely stay here again!
