A walk thru the ferns will lead you to the river's edge where you can fish, launch a kayak or canoe, play in the water or just sit and watch for eagles, otters, deer, ducks or just listen to natures voice.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It was very clean and tidy. We loved having the use of a screened in back porch and hot tub! The access to the river is easy to navigate and we loved the area. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a weekend away at the river!

Our family had a wonderful stay. The cabin was fully equipped with everything you could ask for and very clean. River access was a bonus! We enjoyed hanging down by the water and enjoying the view. Host was excellent at answering any questions we had when booking and very accommodating. Highly recommend

Family getaway

Perfect place to ride bikes, kayak, bird watch, go for walks, and just spend time with the family. The hot tub and gas grill were nice to be able to use.

Was a great relaxing stay with a few best of friends. It is a little walk to the river but a cute path leads the way. Pick up a walking stick to help yourself get to the water’s edge and enjoy the day watching the birds and wildlife.

Cook Forest at its best

Wonderful accommodations and host. Everything was clean, well maintained and Virginia was so helpful. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Great house

It's a great house, everything you need for a family get away. The beds are a little harder than we are used to but it's a great setup. Some cute lights outside around the fire so you can see better at night would be great. We would stay again!

Family cabin weekend
