Great location. The house is peaceful and the lake is beautiful. Great food and a fantastic art gallery just minutes away.

The view was beautiful! Waking up to the site of the lake in the mornings was a great way to start our days. The cottage was very nice - just as described. Everything ran smoothly with the owner. I would definitely go back there if I were to go back to Honeye Lake.

This property was perfect for our group. The only change I will suggest is updating the small mattresses. Love the kitchen. We were able to cook together and visit with the others at the same time. We did have an beautiful view of the sunrise from the deck.

A beautiful house with an amazing view. Fully stocked, clean and in a great location. Host was always available if needed. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

A pleasant home with a beautiful view! I stayed with five of my high school girlfriends, and there was ample space for us to prepare and consume meals together. The pull-out sofa situated downstairs appears to be quite worn and was rather uncomfortable to sit on. Additionally, the shower is quite compact and, in my opinion, resembles a camper shower, measuring approximately 2 feet by 2 feet. There is no illumination either within or adjacent to it, and the entryway is at least 8 inches high. One of my friends inadvertently slipped on the provided bath mat and fell into the door. Fortunately, she sustained no injuries, but the design is not particularly user-friendly. Despite these minor inconveniences, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were pleasantly surprised to discover that the bed linens were provided. The owner was exceptionally responsive and amiable. The hiking trail that he recommended did not disappoint!

Exterior deck, chairs and table needed some attention (cleaning). Beautiful view!Dock wobbly if you’re a senior.Interior stairs were OK.Shower downstairs away from bedrooms was a bit of a challenge…very small and tight.Bedrooms excellent, plenty of storage, king bed very comfortable.Small microwave…rest of appliances great.No critters!! All things considered, a very nice property. We had a wonderful time.

Thank you for the detailed review. With the incredibly wet spring, I have not been able to repaint the deck yet but it is on my to-do list tomorrow (6/4). My neighbor sent me a picture of the dock and it needs to be slightly adjusted. Once all the sections and hoist are put in the water, it becomes incredibly secure. We are happy that you enjoyed the views and sleeping conditions. We would gladly host you again!

Everything went great. The house was exactly as advertised and the entire group was more than pleased. We would be more than happy to return. Kevin, the host was more than helpful with a situation that was embarrassing for us.. we locked ourselves out of the house.. within the first 10 minutes of arrival. He answered our call quickly and took care of the issue. We have stayed all over this lake over a 20 year tradition in about 7 different property rentals on memorial weekend fishing trips and this was one of the best houses.

Comfortable Vacation Spot

What a beautiful spot for a relaxing vacation. Very comfortable and the house had everything we required. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions that we had.

Cute cottage, quiet lake

Cottage is well outfitted including grill and kayaks. Honeoye Lake is quiet. We enjoyed our restful visit!

Great fishing!!

Beautiful area, peaceful lake we had a perfect family vacation!! My husband caught fish off the dock everyday and even got several decent sized Bass including a 16” Thank you Kevin for the “Extra time” Don’t hesitate to book this rental you will Love it!!

Great house and location

We spent one night at this beautiful home mid March. The home was clean, updated, and in a great location. Would love to have spend more time here and would definitely come back in the summer to enjoy the lake!

Great lakefront getaway

We really enjoyed the long Memorial Day weekend at the cottage. The waterfront was great to dock our boat for easy access. The house is well stocked and fit our family of eight comfortably. Communication with the owner was very fast for the pre-trip questions we had. Would recommend!

Great family getaway. Don't own a lakehouse when y

Perfect place to relax and unwind. Kevin has all the amenities and then some. Perfect location and easy to get around. A great place to stay with friends or family. Having a boat made our stay all the more fun!

Delightful stay

The property is in an fantastic location, very peaceful. The cottage was clean and full of all the esentials. There was plenty of parking. Kevin was an excellent host. Any issues or questions, he will respond within minutes. We highly recommend staying here.
