Highly recommend this home that is in a great location with amazing view of the lake. All photos are exactly the way that the house is listed. The house was large and well appointed just like home would be. A bonus and something that we never expected was that the house is equipped with a generator that came on one time when the power went off briefly. Prior to our arrival the host sent a great list of restaurants, places to visit, grocery stores and things to do. Host was very responsive to minor issue of coffee pot not working and had another one delivered promptly. Check in was easy and just like the host explained prior to our arrival. The property was perfect for 5 active grandchildren. They played outside in the grassy areas, in the basement, and patio area by the garage. Lovely house that was large enough for everyone to spread out. We will be back next summer!

We had a very nice stay at this property, but caution. First the good...The view from the property is fantastic. The fire pit is very enjoyable, great hot tub, attractive decor, spacious and clean. The large yard was also a plus, which allowed us to play with the kids. Very nice rooms, light and bright, and the kitchen was well appointed. The bad... the basement space was essentially unusable. It was absolutely freezing (60 degrees at best) despite the owner's recommendations for playing with the thermostats, rendering the beds and entertainment area totally unusable. Many of the automatic room shades did not work, making light an issue for anyone who wanted to sleep in. The house has no cable television or streaming service, so you're on your own if you want to watch something. Many of the mattresses and linens were of very poor quality for this type of home, and towels were scarce as well. We also had to refill the propane tanks and had we not found the umbrella crank on our own, the patio shade would have been unusable.Overall, a very attractive property in a great location with lots of nice features, but for the price you're paying, I would expect a lot more in terms of attention to detail and quality — most importantly, a basement that you can actually spend time in, especially considering it's listed as an area that sleeps guests.

This was a beautiful home and great location for the 10 senior adults ranging in age from mid sixties to 89 years old. Very clean, beautiful furnishings, and fantastic view of Canandaigua Lake.We had ample towels and linens for our large group. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was very accommodating in answering any questions we had. We were able to use the hot tub and the fire pit.We were meeting with our adult children for a celebration of life for our brother-in-law and sister who both passed away recently. We had family come in from 8 different states.I would definitely recommend this home, however, perhaps not for seniors who have some health issues with stairs. Our only disappointment was the owner not allowing our adult children to come to the house for our memorial event. Many members of our family have not seen each other for years and not allowing them to come outside to this property was an inconvenience for all. We felt it was suggested that we did not know how to respect the property or keep things clean and tidy.Thank you for understanding our concerns.
