Once home to the historic BBI Yacht Club, this beautifully renovated house blends old-world charm with modern comfort. It features four comfortable bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a cozy living room with a stone fireplace, and a spacious dining room perfect for gathering with family or friends. Step out onto the large L-shaped screened porch to take in the lake breeze and panoramic water views.
The property sits on over an acre with 120 feet of Lake Huron shoreline, offering privacy and plenty of room to relax. Everything you need for an unforgettable stay is here — truly an “On Golden Pond” experience.

*******Please note that there is a camera on the front porch and another camera on the back porch to surveillance the outside of the property.

Lovely rustic cabin. Had space for everyone, on the water and even though the island lost power for a little bit, we had plenty to do. So very pretty.

Dale has a beautiful cabin on the lake. This is a very quiet relaxing place to spend a weakened. The kids played in the water while the adults relaxed in the screened in porch and by the bond fire. Very nice place and will be coming back in the future.

The amount of space inside this home was perfect. Lots of space for our family to stretch out and relax. The covered porch was by far the most amazing piece of this property (aside from the pristine beach). There were plenty of amenities and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare our food. We stocked up on groceries in Cheboygan and brought them over. Highly recommend this spot for anyone considering staying on BBI.

If you love seclusion you will love it.

It was nice but some updates would be good, some of the beds need new mattresses and sheets.

Lovely, Restful Weekend

Had a lovely weekend in this lakefront lodge. Beautiful views, and the hosts decorated the house thoughtfully and stocked it with tons of puzzles and games for a fun family getaway. Perfect for a casual, up-north weekend without a lot of people.

The house and lake was absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about the home. The adventures that we had between the islands was interesting. We loved being able to fish and go to the beach just down from the house. The house was equipped with everything needed to make the stay very pleasant.

House was more than comfortable and was very well supplied. My only dislike was the terribly rocky beach. But we went up the road 5 minutes and there was a fantastic beach.

Escape from stress

My family loved this island! We had great accommodations and our host had thought of many of the little things from the kitchen stocked with all the things you need to prepare your own meals to a closet full of beach towels and bug spray. It was indeed a much needed escape from mainland.

Great Getaway

A great vacation home on a secluded island. The kids played in the clear water all day while we enjoyed the beautiful view. The house was well stocked for us to cook dinners and play late night games. I loved drinking coffee on the screened porch while putting together a puzzle. Highly recommend for families looking for a peaceful getaway!

Great Place

The house was amazing. Plenty of room. Loved all of it. The screened in wrap around porch was huge. The owner was easy to get in touch with and was very responsive.

Awesome time on Bois Blanc Island

Wonderful place to stay, we really enjoyed the privacy and the views were awesome!!! I stay at a lot of Vrbo's, this is on keeper list for the next visit. Make sure you bring your side by side and enjoy your adventure, tons of places to explore. Keep the speed limit under 25, helps you see more of the island as well...one of the coolest, most beautiful pristine places in the world!!!

BBI early morning delight

The weather was great every day resulting in great sunrises on the East shore - The grandkids loved jumping in the waves then jumping in the shower downstairs to thaw out :-) - (the pines dock still their favorite though). Grateful this property is now available!!

Charming Beach House

This property was exactly what we were seeking. It brought me back to the lake cottages we used to stay at in the summer growing up. The wraparound, screened-in porch (or "the sitting room" as we came to call it) is lovely. We did lots of reading and lots of kayaking and enjoyed a place that I hope not *too many* others find out about. Even if you're a night owl, be sure to get up early at least one day to take in a sunrise.

Refreshment in a cabin!

Anyone that goes to Bois Blanc Island is wanting to get away from the fancy and bustle of life! This historic cabin is not fancy but it is well stocked, maintained, cozy, has a splendid assortment of places to relax, whether on the beach, the porch, by the fireplace on a cool evening, nice selection of board games and so much more! Dale was very helpful and they seemed like really nice people! Highly recommend!

Peaceful Lake Home

Serene setting right on Lake Huron with great sunrises. The home is nicely decorated and 2 of the bedrooms have great views of the lake. The living room fireplace is great for an evening fire. We spent most of our time on the screened porch. Loved the game area stocked with games, books and puzzles. Kitchen offered everything we needed. Would definitely recommend checking this one out.

Northern Lights!

Great place and a great time! Dale was an excellent host and provided all we needed in communication to thoroughly enjoy our stay. From the moment we set foot on the island the peaceful sights, sounds, and pace of the island set a great tone for our time away. The cottage is clean, well appointed, comfortable in all ways, and situated on a beautiful shoreline that offered miles of views and walking. We’ll be talking about our swim in Lake Huron for years to come! By far the most notable experience happened one night taking a break from playing Euchre on the screened porch to do a little star gazing. Not only did we see more stars that we’ve ever seen before, but the Northern Lights showed up and danced in the sky for a while. Definitely a bucket-list item for me! Great time all around. Very thankful for the time there and the wonderful experience!
