We really enjoyed this property for our couple's retreat. It was everything that the listing stated and more. The home was clean, organized, and stocked very well. Location was beautiful and relaxing. Communication with the host was great. The river views were spectacular, even on a rainy day. We will be returning in the near future!!!!

Our boating weekend up north was made so easy with the location of the house and the ease of parking for trucks with boat trailers! Thanks for sharing your beautiful place! We enjoyed the fire pit with good wood and well as the porch early coffee times by the river!

Great place to stay! We had 3 couples for a boating weekend. Location is amazing with great views. The house was clean and they thought of many details that made our stay more enjoyable such as outlets on the nightstand, a cart to haul luggage in or garbage to the dumpster, a bottle of wine and dip packet on the dining room table, firewood to enjoy a bonfire, many games, and all the amenities such as dishsoap, paper towel and toilet paper. Host was great at communicating and very responsive. We already booked for next year! Thank you!

This was our second year at the cottage on the River. Both the cottage and grounds incl 2 docks were in excellent condition. Our granddaughters loved the loft for their own private apartment. The pool table got a lot of use during the nightly tournaments. Hosts were excellent to work with and new deck furniture was very nice for evening dinners while watching the boat parade

We will definitely be coming back. Nice getaway for the week. House was super clean. Had so many accommodations and we really didn’t have to bring as much as we did. Ice maker is very convenient. It was a cozy house to be in the rainy morning that we had. Absolutely everything we wanted in a house to stay in for the week. We are looking forward to booking again.

Or stay was very relaxing, we did our excursions during the day and can back to sit on the deck alongside the river and just watch nature and boats going up and down the river.

We took the Grands to Mackinac Island and the Cheboygen area to introduce them to Michigan and to celebrate my birthday. The property fit our needs to a tee. Very clean, very comfortable, spacious, very well stocked. The ice maker was a lifesaver. No issues or complaints other than Mother Nature didn’t allow us to charter a fishing trip. The hosts were extremely helpful answering our questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this property.

We absolutely loved the property! There was so much to see and do in the area, and it’s surrounding towns.We greatly enjoyed taking our boats up and down the river, and will definitely be looking into this property again for future stay!

We absolutely loved our stay, the weather was nice and the house was beautiful and peaceful it was our first time visiting Michigan from West Virginia it was close to mackinaw city for us girls and the guys loved being on the river for fishing. We would definitely recommend visiting and staying at the lodge

We had a wonderful time staying here with family! It was the perfect location, the home was wonderfully equipped, and it suited a much needed family vacation. We couldn't have asked for a better place.Much fun was had by all from boating, bonfires, games, and pool! We especially loved the ice machine! We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Sibling trip

The property was very nice, conveniently located, fit our needs perfectly. Great location and owner was very prompt responding to any questions/concerns we had. Enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to rent again if ever back in the area.

Loved our stay! Place was amazing with all the extras. Gave our younger adults plenty todo!! Loved having the fire pit, pool table, kayaks and bean bags!!
