Thank you for sharing your experience and for highlighting the peaceful setting and beautiful water view. You're right that the water access is rocky and slippery, which is typical of most of the Lake Huron shoreline in this area, so we'd recommend water shoes for anyone planning to get in. We're glad the location offered a good balance of quiet distance from Mackinaw City while still being close enough for tourist outings, and we hope future guests enjoy that same peaceful setting.
