Escape to the Northwoods at Tomahawk Cabin on beautiful 1,900-acre Lake Mohawksin, with 40+ miles of shoreline to explore!

The cabin features two stories of lake-facing windows, a fully stocked kitchen with live-edge island, spacious deck, downstairs walkout, and a fun retro-style bar overlooking the lake.

With 3 sleeping areas, 3 bathrooms, 7 beds + 1 futon, there's room for family and friends to relax and reconnect.

Summer: spend your days boating, swimming, fishing, and grilling lakeside. Enjoy your own private 50' pier with swimming ladder, plus complimentary canoes, kayaks, and paddle boat. A 20' pontoon is also available onsite for an additional rental fee.

Fall: enjoy spectacular colors and cozy fires.

Winter: brings snowmobiling and ice fishing right outside your door.

When you're ready to explore, enjoy nearby parks, UTV trails, downtown Tomahawk, local restaurants, and classic Northwoods taverns.

End the day around the fire with s'mores or downstairs playing games and enjoying the lake views.

We had such a wonderful time at this cabin. Everything was well stocked and they literally thought of everything. Our stay was so enjoyable. Beautiful cabin with incredible lake views. I highly recommend this property.

The lake house was clean, well stocked and comfortable. It’s a nice level walk to the lake from the house. The waterfront has pretty ferns and reeds with a sandy entrance to the lake making easy access for swimming and watercraft. The pier is nice and sturdy and good fishing right from the dock. The deck furniture is comfortable and flattop grill very nice. We had a glitch with the pontoon and dishwasher but the owners were quick to respond to any of our questions. At times you can hear the road traffic if you’re sensitive to that. Overall we had a very good week at this property and enjoyed our time there.

Great stay with a lot to do in the area! We had a ice fishing trip here and was close to plenty of good ice fishing lakes!

A perfect choice for a true Northwoods holiday. The location is private but within easy reach of all amenities, including the best boat-up bar & grill in the area. View is superb. The house itself is a classic log a-frame with loft which worked for our small family but would also be great for a large group, with plenty of beds and well separated areas , including a lower level walk-out fully equipped for games and activities.Speaking of activities: you will want to be on the water and this place is fully equipped with kayaks, canoes, paddleboats and everything you'll need. If you can, rent the pontoon boat, which is perfect for days exploring the lake. We did all our cooking at home (except of course for Friday Fish Fry!) and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house was immaculately clean and fully supplied with everything you'd expect and many surprising small comforts. Our hosts Jesse and Cynthia were welcoming and super responsive. If you have questions or issues you can count on quick answers and seamless resolutions.We loved it. We'll be back.

This Tomahawk cabin was super clean and well maintained. The owners really thought of everything a guest might need to feel at home and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, flatware and cookware you could want. At one point we needed an electric hand mixer and sure enough it was there in the pantry.We didn’t have children with us but I noticed that some things a young family would need are also provided: high chair, potty seat, extra diapers…so thoughtful!We enjoyed the view of the lake right outside our door. We had coffee out on the deck every morning and watched the birds and other wildlife. Fishing from the pontoon boat was a highlight of our trip. Did we catch any fish? No, but I didn’t care! The lake was so beautiful I just enjoyed being out there.The cabin is located on one of the main roads into town so there was a bit more traffic noise than I expected. But since we spent most of our time on the lake that was a minor detail. I highly recommend this cabin for a very memorable vacation stay!

Perfect home to enjoy the northwoods

Beautiful property with everything you could need. Our group of 6 friends came into the area to visit some dive bars and enjoy some northwoods time. From the get go the property owner was great and easy to deal with. Setting up the reservation they were responsive and gave clear instructions on the house. Getting checked in was simple and the home was gorgeous. With multiple levels you have tons of room to spread out with a larger group. Everything we needed was there and couldn’t have asked for a better set up. Can’t wait to come back in the summer to sit on the patio.and enjoy the back.

Great house with plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 4 young children. Nice dock for our 26 foot pontoon boat. The lounge chairs are comfortable and there is a good fire ring. The deck chairs, tables, and sun umbrella made it enjoyable to sit on the deck. The flat grill is a nice bonus. The interior is nicely furnished. Everything works as it should. Great view of Mohawksin Lake. The only concern is the driveway entrance to highway 86. You have to be very careful when pulling out.Overall it is an excellent vacation property.

Tomahawk has so much to offer! It's a short drive to town where you'll find a traditional downtown complete with a Mercantile. Tomahawk Cabin is just over the bridge from Castaways Bar & Grill; get there by water/foot/car. Plus there are plenty of parks and trails (walking, hiking, UTV, snowmobile) nearby! Plus the obvious 1,900 acre lake!
