This place is absolutely magical! Sunrises, sunsets, stars that stretch out forever, and absolutely everything we needed in between. It could not have been more cozy, more peaceful, more beautiful, or more perfect.

The Gouldsboro Point house was one of the finest homes we have ever rented! First and foremost, it was immaculate. It is completely stocked for all your cooking needs and has plenty of fresh towels and linens. The beds are very comfortable. The location is ideal and the view is gorgeous. Susan was very communicative and we look forward to renting with her again. 5 stars and thank you!

Amazing location, home, and property. Perfect get away for family vacation. View was spectacular every morning and evening; fire pit and deck perfect; kitchen great, and beds very comfortable.

We absolutely loved this home! The house was beautifully decorated, it was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. We took full advantage of the incredible views from the deck to enjoy our morning coffee, and spotted a bald eagle almost daily. The kids played on the beach and climbed on the rocks, which was also a fantastic spot to put in our kayaks to explore the bay. We liked being close to Schoodic Peninsula but also drove to Mt Desert Island several times to explore. Would love to come back again!

This home is our favorite VRBO rental by far. Gorgeous location on the bay in Gouldsboro with all the amenities, inside and out, that we could ever wish for. Loved sitting on the deck and by the shore soaking up the sun, listening to the birds and watching the tide come in and go out. The home itself is beautiful and was exceptionally clean, with tasteful decor, and feels perfect for its location. Great wifi and a smart tv for steaming. Not far at all from neighboring towns with great restaurants, groceries, and plenty of things to do. The steps down to the beach look new, with what looks like an artisan-made handrail, for easy and safe access to the beach below the home. I can’t say enough about this home and how it had absolutely everything we needed for our vacation!

Quiet family retreat

We loved our stay at Lone Pine. The house was perfect for our family and we all enjoyed sitting outside and watching the tide go in and out. It was the perfect location for day trips to Acadia and Campobello island.

Lone Pine Was the Perfect Spot!

Lone Pine was the perfect home base to relax and enjoy the scenery and quiet in between trips to the park and amazing dinners. The fall colors were beautiful!

We celebrated my 50th Birthday exploring Acadia and the surrounding area. it was a trip I will never forget! I LOVED everything about the property and we hope to bring our adult kids back! WOW!!!!!We thoroughly enjoyed the hour drive back and forth from MDI and also enjoyed dinners in Winter Harbor and checking out Schoodic.

Lone Pine Cottage

Great time!

Loved the place. Exactly as advertised and a a great place to explore winter harbor, bar harbor and the park itself (even if it’s a little bit of a drive from the entrance). Highly recommend for groups :)
