Take a single room or the house to yourself! This home has lots of room w/a 75" & 65" smart TV in 2 living room areas! Washer/dryer available as well as exercise equipment with yoga mats. 4 bedrooms and bathroom in master suite. Fireplace. Full kitchen with a deep freezer. Deck w/chairs and fenced back yard. Wireless printer. House sits on a quiet street. Driveway fits 3 cars! Central air in home. 2 couches also have pullout beds and there 2 air mattresses as well. Great home away from home!

Everything was appropriate and to my families liking. We enjoyed our time with my son and daughter in law whom we were visiting. We enjoyed Kings Dominion. The house was big enough for everyone and my grands enjoyed themselves as well

Short stay in DC

House was nicely located to the Washington Mall and all of its monuments. Communication with the owner was simple, thorough, and easy.

Host was super responsive and helpful house was generally clean the beds were just a bit uncomfy with squeaking and mattresses that def need replacing. Nice amount of dishes and some food in pantry. Dishwasher wasn’t working but plenty of sink space and very spacious for guest to sleep.

Great house

Very nice house, just what we needed for our vacation. Be very aware that there are 3 floors and 3 bedrooms are on the top floor and kitchen is on the 2nd. Property manager replied quickly to messages. If we make it back to DC would stay here again

We booked this property for 7 nights for 4 families with children. We arrived around 4pm on July 19 & left that evening after contacting Vrbo. Vrbo was unable to reach the host.Upon entry, there was a strong chemical odor that caused several adults & children to cough, choke, & experience burning eyes. The host said the property had just been cleaned. Because of the odor and other conditions, we were unable to stay.The property was significantly different from the listing photos. We observed heavily stained carpet, areas where carpet was cut out and covered by rugs, grimy walls with dried splatter, a torn sectional, substantial grease on the stovetop, damaged closet doors, loose hinges, and hair on the bed linens. The host stated that an insurance claim was pending for prior guest damage to the carpeting.We also observed safety concerns, including a loose stair handrail that a licensed contractor in our group believed was not to code, a doorknob screw protruding approximately one inch at hand height, and an unsecured second-floor balcony door with no functioning lock. The door was being held closed with a piece of particle board that appeared too short to prevent it from opening.Had these conditions been disclosed, we would not have booked the property. We documented the conditions with photographs and video. Future guests may wish to request current, date-stamped photos and specifically ask about unrepaired damage or maintenance and saftey issues before booking.

Jennifer is being fundamentally dishonest and I would never rent to her again and I would suggest no one renting to her. To her specific claims, I will respond. First of all, she never contacted me before deciding to leave and also left my house door unlocked. As I told her, for some of the issues that she talked about, if she actually contacted me, I could have resolved her issues in 30 minutes, but she just decided to leave and then complained to Vrbo, not me. The rug was damaged and I had a claim in process so I bought new area rugs 2 days before her arrival so guests wouldn’t have to deal with that. She looked under the new rugs and complained about that. The odor she refers to were the plug-in air fresheners that we use (like Glade). All she had to do was unplug them if she didn’t like the smell. There is no grime on the walls. All the other things she talked about like that door were fixed early Monday morning (I got her complaints after 9 PM on Sunday after I emailed her to check-in on things). I would have arrived that evening had I known but she was already gone. Despite her immediately leaving and not contacting me, I offered her a 50% refund of what I get from VRBO. She declined and threatened future legal action. She then researched my license, which she thought was expired, only to find that it was renewed BECAUSE everything is up to code. I am always receptive to feedback and improving conditions for guests, which is why I just got a 5-star review yesterday.

CONS: All of the mattresses are TERRIBLE and it’s a stretch to say it sleeps 12 people. One of the sofa beds had the absolute worst mattress I’ve ever laid down on. A few of the main sofa cushions are broken, so when you sit you sink way down. There was only ONE lamp in the entire house, otherwise strictly overhead LED lighting. The place was surface-level clean but dirty in many places. One of the toilets wouldn’t flush with no reason for it to be backed up and no plunger to try to fix it so that bathroom was out of commission. The 2nd floor sliding glass door doesn’t lock and there’s just a piece of wood that is too small being used to “secure” it. PROS: It’s near a police station. The owner is communicative and kind.

LOVED THIS HOUSE!!!

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The space was perfect for our group of 14, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The property was impeccably clean, and the owner was incredibly responsive, making the entire experience stress-free. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short distance from our performance at the Kennedy Center. Highly recommend this place for any large group!

We had a great stay

We went there to meet up our family we haven't seen in years...the communication with the owner was great. The house have everything you need, the neighborhood was quite. The only thing was the mattresses (not all rooms has comfortable mattress. We would stay again.

Property gives off 2 star hotel vibes. Clean-ish. Comfortable-ish. Safe-ish. I would not choose to stay here again.The rooms and bed availability was as described. Plus for so many bathrooms and laundry w/ detergent available. Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. There is a grocery store and a few fast food options nearby.We were a multi generation family on vacation with 2 seniors and 2 potty training toddlers. We needed the extra bathrooms but it was definitely a trade off for better accomodations. Like others noted, the property was surface level clean. There was just one tub of disinfecting wipes that I could find. I had to go purchase a cleaner. The glass table in the kitchen/dining area only seats 4. The dishes, cook ware, appliances, and such seemed to be just a random accumulation of unorganized and irrelevant items. Example, there were so many butter knives, several big tablespoons, 2 teaspoons, and 4 forks. I had to buy plastic forks. Several towels had stains/holes. Bedrooms and closets used as storage for random furniture and items. The closets were so stuffed that items were spilling out and made it impossible to close doors properly. The mattresses had an egg crate pad added but that doesn't cover up worn mattresses. All of the furniture is creaky and worn.In other reviews the owner says that visitors should have contacted her. I chose not to because I was managing a family on vacation. The unit should be ready for guests.

Wonderful

This was my first time using Vrbo because Airbnb was completely booked out, I found this amazing home and the host was very responsive and helpful. This home was very beautiful and my guest and I had a delightful stay, and I'll stay again soon.

Yaw was my first guest on VRBO. My only problem is that I can’t DUPLICATE Yaw for every guest who visits. Yaw was awesome and even helped me figure things out on the platform. My newness to the platform is why you may not see 5 stars for everything. Made a mistake swiping but Yaw is FIVE STARS all the way!

Great Stay

This is a very good place to stay. Our family stayed comfortably, with enough beds and bathrooms to use. A few upkeep needed but otherwise our stay was good. It is close to groceries, pharmacy etc and also a block away from a police station so you are assured a safe stay. Communication with owner was easy and fast, check in was easy too. So if you'll be staying in the Washington DC area, this is a good place to check out.
