Literally ski out your backdoor to Canyon Lodge and the Canyon Express Chair. This 1849 condo has absolutely the closest access to Mammoth mountain ski lifts making it ideal for skiers. If you don't ski you can stay at home and watch the skiers from the warmth of your fireplace. You will never have to move your car out of the underground parking garage during your stay at Mammoth. You can walk just steps to the Gondola for a ride to the Village and or use the free Mammoth shuttle which stops in front of the 1849 condos and can take you to the city center.
Relax in our 1500 sq. ft. condo that has a rustic Mammoth Mountain cabin appeal. The living room features a big screen Smart TV with Blue ray and a home theatre system along with a large DVD collection. There is a highspeed wireless internet. The condo boasts 2 master bedroom suites with king sized beds and full baths and 1 bedroom with a queen bed and its own full bath and 1 queen size pull out sofa bed. The unit has its own washer and dryer just off the kitchen.
The club house features a heated outdoor swimming pool, 2 outdoor hot tubs, 1 indoor hot tub, sauna, ping pong table, lounge with big screen TV, video arcade games and laundry facilities. In the summer enjoy the outdoor fire and barbecue pit and private outdoor picnic area.

Thank you for your supportive review. Every penny we earn at the condo goes directly into improving the property and making it a better experience for the guests. Our next project will be to remodel the kitchen...but that might be a ways off, as kitchen remodels are pretty intense!

The kitchen was extremely well equipped and there is a giant adjacent pantry with every appliance under the sun available.

Thank you for your kind review. We arrived in Mammoth Lakes by 2:00 pm and we were able to fix the boot warmer and dryer. Sorry that it wasn’t working for you! We plugged it in to a surge protector so hopefully it doesn’t break again. We also installed some under counter lights so the kitchen should be brighter.

Very comfortable condo. The description is accurate and communication was stellar (very important to me). It's an older property, but well cared for. Location to the village is wonderful. One note...if you have a higher vehicle (SUV or car with cartop carrier) you may have issues in the garage. After removing our cartop carrier, we could get in the first section of parking, but could not clear the 6'-6" barrier to the back section. There is outside parking, but it is a ways from the condo. Ths is not a complaint, just a heads-up. All in all..great stay.

You can't get any closer to the slopes and the gondola for village access. The fully equipped kitchen enabled us to cook most nights and be up early to hit the slopes just across the road. We keep coming back because it can't be beat.

We do an annual ski trip to Mammoth and this was our third time staying here. We are so thankful to have found this place. Always clean and homey and just a short walk to Canyon. Our host, Becky, is responsive and accommodating to any questions. Thank you!

The Name says it All - Location! Location! Location! If you ski, ride, or bike, this is the BEST location to stay at. And the BEST host; perfect communication, made us feel at home, and their condo has everything you'd want for a comfortable, fun, and relaxing vacation. Absolutely loved this place...the resort, and the town. Thank you!

This home is very comfortable and perfectly located in Mammoth Lakes for easy access to local hot spots. The three of us were there for fall photography in the mountains and had a fantastic experience.

Great condo with a cabin feel!
This is a great location for skiing and exploring the area! We stayed with 2 families in this location and it was perfect!

Thanks Kevin! We really do appreciate our repeat visitors. I hope you do come back and find that you like the improvements we are making. Our proximity to Canyon Lodge has really been an asset this year, what with the early opening date and the late closing date for Canyon Lodge lifts.

Awesome Mammoth Mtn Stay
Really enjoyed our stay. This is a great property for a weekend ski stay. Owner/Manager was outstanding and the place was really setup well. will visit again for sure!

Great place to stay
We really enjoyed staying here. It had endless amenities, everything we needed for our trip. The view from the deck was beautiful. It was spacious enough for our family and the decorations we're so cute! The added bonus was the easy entrance, elevator and luggage cart! We'll definitely be back!

Great location
My family and I stayed for a second year in a row and have the kids do ski lessons. It is a great location and perfect for a family get away

Fun and Relaxing
The property was ready for fun and relaxation. Well stocked with the essentials and had everything we needed. Great communication with the owners throughout our stay.Would love to stay here again.

I have been going to this condo with my family since I was a teenager. My father was the original owner of #104 at the 1849. We are continuously working on upgrading the condo. My wife, Becky, manages the condo and really enjoys the interactions with the guests. We live in northern California very close to the Oregon border and are retired from dentistry and dental hygiene.
