I gave 3 stars for the views only. Within a few hours of walking on the floors and area rugs, my feet were black. A paste on fingernail found under the coffee pot. My family stayed 4 nights, immediately we found the main floor TV was not working. We contacted the host, she replied by saying the cleaning crew said it was working. After contacting her several more times, and troubleshooting, changing batteries, the issue was never resolved. There was not enough eating utensils for our group. Lost hot water in the master bath. The pool needs a good scrub. I never complain about any of the VRBO places I have stayed. Nice place, but staging isn't everything.

Great place in Oakland Hills

Close to Oakland airport. Spacious rooms, great views all around. Small items needing to fixed but all around good stay. Would recommend to others for a stay.

wonderful setup for a large family gathering. we had 11 in our group with adequate sleeping accomodations for everyone nad lots of open living space for the group on the main floor. having all the bedrooms on the lower level was very helpful with the young children we had.location was very convenient for activities in oakland/berkeley area.

Beautiful, clean and safe!

We loved our stay at this property. The kids had so much fun in the pool and we enjoyed the spectacular views! Communication with the hosts was exceptional. 5 stars! Hope to stay again in the future one day.

Great House, Amazing Views

The views from the house, the balconies, and the deck are breath-taking. The house was great and the hosts were very communicative. Would highly recommend.

Great House , great hosts

The house was lovely and definitely spacious enough for 5 adults and 3 children. The house was built with beautiful views off the back. The only downside was that it was close to the street in the front but it was well fenced and maintained. Great pool for the kids ! Morgana and family were extremely good hosts and answered all our queries quickly.

A great stay

The house felt luxurious and beautiful. The views were incredible as well. The experience with the managers was smooth and pleasant - they provided all the info I needed ahead of time and were available during the duration of the stay. Something to note is that the house is close to the highway and the road, so if you're very sensitive to noise, some of the bedrooms are quieter than others. That said, it's also walking distance to the Safeway and other shops, which is really convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Location location location and great hosts

We had a great family vacation over the holidays. Lots of room. Comfy beds. Great living room space for all to spread out, the views-AMAZING. The location the grocery stores and redwoods- Amazing. We cooked every meal in. Only negative- guest shower needs work. We were not able to use it as the temp and pressure was so variable that we used the main shower. Hosts tried to assist but due to holiday, unable to truly resolve the issue.

Pros: The house is spacious with stunning views and nice neighborhood. It accommodated our group of 7 easily. It’s easy access to parks, shopping the highway and much more. The porches are delightful. The hosts are very responsive and helpful in trouble shooting problems.Notes since we travelled with elders: there are no stairs to get to the property but all the bedrooms are downstairs.Cons (but fixable):- Our kid has a dust mite allergy and had one of the worst reactions in this place. We did not expect this and actually rented it in part cause of the lack of rugs. However, the area rugs were filthy. Our feet were also dirty after walking bare feet - we don’t think the place was properly vacuumed. They came to remove the carpet and vacuum the place which was helpful. The place could still use a mopping between stays - some parts of the floor were sticky. We bought houses shoes to wear. For a 600 cleaning fee we expect a lot more then surface cleaning. - The place needs fine tuning on the basics like curtains in the all the bedroom that block light (the morning light is intense), vents in all bedrooms, or enough supplies like dishes. For us it’s less important it looks fancy and more important it’s functional. - We never used the pool it was too cold and we didn’t want to pay another 400 to heat it up. It also gets a lot of leaves in it throughout the day.

We booked this property on fairly short notice after another reservation was canceled on us, and we felt fortunate to find such a nice spot to be our home base for our daughter's dropoff for her first year at UC Berkeley. The safe and beautiful location was ideal for our last-minute Target/Ikea/etc. runs and it was easy to get DoorDash and enjoy home meals with the gorgeous view. We also had some nice meals out, especially dinner at Lake Chalet on Lake Merritt and lunch outdoors at Broderick Roadhouse in Walnut Creek, as well as Super Duper Burgers near campus for a quick and convenient meal. If you're hoping to use the pool, be ready to use the skimmer because it's beautifully wooded around the property, and splurge on the heating option because even in late August it was chilly without.Our hosts were super polite and responsive and we can see why they will soon be achieving super host status!

Excellent outdoor space with enough beds for a large group!

A group of 10 of us came out to ride bikes and visit with a local bike shop. The house was large enough for all of us to sleep comfortably and we surely enjoyed all of the outdoor space available for us to hang as a group. The owners were kind enough to let us use the garage space to store 10 bicycles as well. Morgana was very prompt to communicate with me. The house did not have any hair dryers present and available and limited paper towels. The location was close to the local grocery store and Peet's coffee (be ready to climb a hill which is totally expected for the area). Thank you again!

Great property with stunning views! Convenience of location is pretty nice too, with a grocer just down the street & overall access to the greater Bay Area, Host was very communicative with any questions and our group of 9 people were easily accommodated in our stay here. The place definitely provides a great "getaway" feel with its interior!

Another thing that makes our house unique is our private pool area with a grill and comfortable furniture to enjoy a sunny day outside! You wouldn't find a place with a pool nearby!
