Seated in over half acre land professionally maintained yard with complete amenities - updated kitchen and new appliances. Backyard is equipped with patio dining set, lounge chairs and portable Weber grill. Also, it has a firepit.

It’s a beautiful, updated RANCH house - 1,560 square feet, with only two steps to enter. Three queen beds with 2 full baths. Spacious living room. Complete amenities. Newly remodeled kitchen with new kitchen appliances that can be connected to wi-fi through SmartThings.

Semi-finished basement accessible only for 7 or more days of booking to access the laundry.

Two car garage- attached and long driveway.

Outdoor dining. Fire pit. Portable Weber grill.

The house is FULLY DECORATED. Newly installed vinyl flooring in Baylor Maple by Lifeproof.

Overall, I felt great about choosing this place to stay. We had a great time. The house was very clean and Jehu went above and beyond in keep a consistent communication and informing me of things ahead. He also was very kind to allow us to use some of the complimentary drinks and snacks he left for us to use. I would definitely rent this again if I happen to visit Chicago. Thank you!!

Great Place

This home was perfect for us. It had everything you could possibly need and then some. The location was easy to get to in a nice neighborhood near a small park. Communication with the host was great as well. Always prompt with replies. Would definitely recommend this location. Listing is a bit confusing because it is listed on several listing platforms.

Great location and layout

Great location close to major roads but in a quiet neighborhood with a park a block away for kids. Kitchen updated and very well stocked. Living area is spacious. Bedrooms are a decent size with master being very spacious. Owner is very prompt with replying to any questions or issues. We didn’t have enough washcloths for all the guests and he drove over extra quickly. I would recommend this place for sure.

Worth the money, but booking can be tricky

Home was listed on two different home leasing website. There was a problem with double booking that had to be resolved. However, owner was quick to response about scheduling conflict and a mutually agreed upon date was booked. So glad I didn't make my plane reservation first. Once arrived home was clean, but didn't like the strong garlic and onion smell that permeated the house. However, the home had a lot of amenities with ice cream bars, bag of ice, bottle water and other items that made the experience wonderful. The 3 queen beds was super comfortable and sofa too. Home is near plenty of restaurants, access to freeways and gas station.

Thank you for your honest review,Betty. The booking issue has been resolved as it synced in both platforms. The garlic and onions has been taken out as part of complimentary to guest. Others can be sensitive to the smell. Other than than, the place is hygienic and clean, enticing you to stay and not leave. I appreciate your kind words and welcome back to Chicagoland anytime.

On the positive side, the house was clean and contained the necessary supplies. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. However, a few things happened that made my stay less pleasant. First, I woke up early the first morning absolutely freezing. I looked at the thermostat and found that it was programmed to set the A/C to 62 degrees three times a day. Since it was a comfortable temperature when I arrived, I did not expect to have this issue. There is a Nest thermostat that I was able to reprogram to cover the duration of my stay, but some people might find that difficult to use. The second issue was that I found the second bathroom, downstairs, to have a non-functional door that would not unlock and this could not be opened. There was a secondary entrance to the bathroom with a small bi-fold door that allowed for a narrow passage by the shower. When I communicated about the door, I was directed to use that secondary entrance. I said that it was a problem because my elderly mother was going to stay and use that bathroom, but I didn't get a response. It was challenging for her to negotiate that passage. I would have expected the door to be fixed or at least to receive an explanation for why it could not be fixed at that time. Between that and the lose stair railing, I would not recommend this house for anybody with mobility issues.
