Cozy Studio nestled in the most desirable location in Pacific Beach, North PB. Tourmaline Beach and Surf Park just 2 ½ blocks away. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, within walking distance to great resturants, bars, coffee shops, grocery store and Bird Rock (la Jolla); Far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy it!

The studio is high end and well appointed. It comes complete with a large Flat Screen television, Wi-Fi, Direct TV, fully furnished kitchen, breakfast table, chest of drawers, Queen Diamond Mattress, convertible leather futon (fresh linens included), sky light, and beach essentials! You will find everything you need to enjoy the beach! Beach chairs, fresh towels, boogie boards and a Soft Surfboard.

A Beautiful Private front sitting area perfect for morning coffee or tea!

Pet Friendly, with a fenced courtyard. The pet fee is $75. The quaint courtyard is beautifully landscaped and has a BBQ and Teak Picnic Table and is shared with two other great rentals.

The entire studio is only yours to use. The outside courtyard is a common space, shared with 2 townhomes in the back. The front sitting area is just for you.

North Pacific Beach is one of the Best Beach Towns in San Diego! Close to everything yet far enough enjoy the peace and quiet. Only 2 short blocks to the beach, a grocery store, and many different restaurants.

There is a bus stop at the end of the block.
This is a quiet residential neighborhood.

NOTE: We have a pet fee of $75 up to two pets, Cleaning Fee of $100, Extra Guest Fee of $20/guest per night for any guests above 2, and TOT tax paid to the city of 12.75%

Cozy and Comfortable

I was there for a tournament and the location was perfect, the commute was easy and direct. The neighborhood was quiet. Parking was a challenge nightly but other than that my stay was great! We felt safe walking back to the house even when we had to park far away. Thank you.

Perfect for a weekend getaway.

This little place was exactly what they advertised it to be. It’s little, but perfect for a single person or couple wanting to get away for a few days. The only thing that I’d recommend is getting there VERY EARLY on a week day if possible for parking. You must park on the street, and there is terrible parking availability close to the property unless you get there when people are leaving for work. With that written, once you park, everything you need is within walking distance! I highly recommend ‘Latitude 32’, a little bar and grill right down the street.

Great location- perfect for 1 person

Great location near Tourmaline surfing beach. Property has just about everything you could need for your stay. I was there for 1.5 months and overall was satisfied with my stay. Best suited for a single or couple. There is noise from the main house with moving furniture that sometimes goes on much later than desired, even though there are quiet hours. They need to put a rug or furniture sliders under the furniture/bar stools in the adjacent house to alleviate the excessive noise. The noise is very dependent on who is staying in the main house. Most people are quiet. Over my 1.5 months I had about 10 nights of very noisy neighbors moving furniture around late at night. There are also a fair bit of daddy long leg spiders that will share your space. They don't bother anything (and are harmless) but it's worth noting if you have a fear of spiders. The groundskeepers are very nice and take care of any issues that come up. Also, having a bikes and surfboards were a nice bonus. I had my own board and there was space for storage outside. Overall, I would recommend the property.

Our Honeymoon Highlight

My wife and I recently stayed here for several nights during our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! The studio is stocked with everything we needed to cook and clean. We loved walking down to the beach to watch countless surfers catch waves. The sunsets were beautiful. When we weren’t at the beach we were exploring what San Diego has to offer ( which is a lot). It was an amazing experience. :)

Unbelievable location and Cozy Stay

Richard and Team's studio offers a one of a kind location in North PB only a few blocks from Tourmaline beach and featuring everything you'd really need including amenities like bikes and surfboards. Would recommend to anyone traveling solo or as a couple looking to take advantage of the San Diego beach

Beach getaway

Place was very clean and comfortable. Had lots of beach extras, chairs, towels, boards etc. kitchen nicely stocked. Neighborhood was quiet. Close to beaches. Only disadvantage is parking. If you drive or rent a car be prepared to park far from rental or hunt for a spot. Same issue if you want to drive to the beach. Parking is an issue at beaches.

We arrived at check in time to a cute clean studio. Perfect for two people. If you have a pet or pets staying with you, make sure they are small, as it is pretty tight quarters. The neighborhood is quite and perfectly located near the Pacific Beach area. Not far from the beach, with several restaurants within walking distance. Not far from beautiful La Jolla. We would recommend this rental, if looking for a quaint place to stay,

We had a great time. Thé studio is confortable and you get anywhere walking or riding bicycle if you dont want To take your car. La Jolla je probably the best place To be in San Diego!

Great Location & N’hood! Too Loud!

The small, yet comfortable renovated garage suite was clean and well suited for our needs. The location and proximity to transit & the beach was very good. The neighbourhood and businesses were very friendly and helpful. There were two issues that we had. The two bicycles were in dire need of repair and unsafe to use. (Loose handlebars & very warped tire). Secondly, and the reason we would not stay here again is the noise. As the garage is attached to the main house with the main living area very close to the head of the bed, we were kept up late (10-12pm) with walking and talking. Walls are very thin & the bed slides out from under the other units main living area. Thus we are almost sleeping 2ft under the houses floors. We were also awoken very early, 5:30-7AM each day for the same reason. Again, great area but the other units noise would stop us from recommending it or staying here again.

Perefect Stay for Two!

The property offered a delightful experience, especially for two people who were coming to California for the first time. We did not have to contact the owner/manager one single time and everything went seamless. The area is in a highly desirable location with a decent amount of walkability to local shops, restaurants and Pacific Beach. It's also a short drive to La Jolla, Downtown San Diego and many other local areas/attractions. I would highly recommend this stay to any group of two people looking to maximize their San Diego experience!

Great location, comfortable apartment, excellent use of space, but thin walls

Apartment was clean, comfortable and made great use of compact space. Our major complaint was being awoke by our neighbors in the "big house" attached at around 5 a.m. one morning. They and their children were quite loud (no indoor voices) and I had to get out of bed at 5:45 to ask them to keep it down. There were other more minor noise level issues with these neighbors, but not as bad. As much as we love children (we have 2) we don't like to be woken up at 5 a.m. by anyone. We blame the guests next door in part, but we feel better care might have been given to sound insulation. Finally, we don't appreciate the bribe of 10% discount offered by Norwood's for a 5 star review. That almost brought the review down to 3 stars, but this property was very nice except for noise level next door, thus 4 stars.

This was a studio apartment and I decided that the location was so fantastic, that I wanted to spend the money and make the apartment a charming and beautiful place to have a beach get-a-way. I meet people all the time that get a hotel room is a sparse area of San Diego and have always thought how much more you could get for you money if you booked a Vacation Rental near the beach!
