Beautiful studio rental

This place is even better than the pictures! Immaculately clean, well stocked, excellent location, comfortable bed, nice linens and wonderful property manager. I've stayed in many rentals and this may be the best I've ever rented! Everything you could ever need. I stayed alone and felt very safe. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE!

This is an absolutely perfect cozy beautiful space where Michael has provided everything for a lovely vacation from the stylish design, comfy bed, cleanliness, bath toiletries, snack basket which our 12 year old thoroughly enjoyed, to the condiments and coffee, to the beach toys!

Relaxing Beach Vaca

I couldn't of asked for a better place to stay. It was so welcoming and exactly as described. My favorite by far was the outside patio and street access, it was a quick walk to the beach which I did pretty much every day. I would for sure want to stay here again if I'm ever in the area again.

Perfect space

We had such a lovely stay at this light-filled, relaxing, clean and cozy apartment. Perfect for a relaxing beach stay. Right across the street from the beach access. The property had everything you would need for the beach. Quiet complex, easy parking and clear instructions from host. We will definitely be back.

Impeccable Attention to Details

The location was amazing... steps away from the beach and easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops. Honestly, couldn't ask for a better location. What was was most impressive, however was how Michael anticipated every possible need a guest might have. While we didn't end up cooking, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more). The space was fully optimized. Extra towels are always appreciated. The wagon full of beach necessities was a lovely touch. Michael was a thoughtful and gracious host. Our expectations were exceeded. We look forward to returning.

Amazing and better than any hotels in the area!

First of all, I am a local and I know the hotels and several rentals in Carpinteria since we have family stay here often. This is definitely the nicest for the price, location and the accommodations. Really kind and communicative owner. Super clean (and I am a neat freak) and even a great bed! The location is incredible- 1/2 block from the beach and you can hear the waves from the back patio. Good water pressure, nice kitchen and cute design touches. Will always be my first choice in the area.

Perfect place to stay!!

Our small family stayed here for a few days to get away. The beach is 85 steps from the door of the rental. The host was very easy to communicate with and knowledgeable of things to do locally. We also enjoyed renting a golf cart from the host to jet around town and the kids loved it. The rental was really nice and looked brand new. Will definitely stay again.

So close to the beach!

Michael’s Sandyland Studio is amazing in every way! The studio includes a fully stocked kitchen, extra towels and blankets, a cute outdoor patio, and lots of thoughtful little extras like two luggage racks. The two highlights: the place is SO close to the beach and SO clean! We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Michael.

Carpenteria Gem

We had a wonderful stay at Sandyland - the suite was lovely, sparkling clean, well stocked and renovated beautifully with comfortable beds, great kitchen and living area, pretty patio and all that you might need for your stay with many thoughtful touches from the snacks waiting for us when we arrived to the awesome beach cart. The pool was great and the beach and ocean just steps from the patio. Michael was extremely helpful, kind and responsive - we would highly recommend staying here :)

Clean and cozy stay. Everything was as described. I believe there was an error through the 3rd party (Expedia) in communicating the entry code promptly but once I communicated with the host, it was given to me. Walking distance from the beach and restaurants. Very peaceful and quiet beach.

Condo by the Ocean

Our condo by the ocean stay was nothing short of perfection! The stunning views, modern amenities, and exceptional communication by our host Michael truly made it a 5-star experience. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and luxurious retreat by the ocean. THE SUNSET WAS BEAUTIFUL!! We will definitely return on our next little getaway.

Carpinteria Beach Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Sandyland Beach Studio! We had trouble with the keypad at check in, but Michael was extremely responsive and had the issue remedied within minutes. The unit itself was exactly as pictured, sparkling clean, and had all the amenities you could need for a comfortable stay, plus plenty of extras. Our kids loved the board games and beach toys! The location is great - just around the corner from the beach and an easy walk to shops and restaurants downtown. Would highly recommend!

We love Carpenteria

We traveled North from San Diego to attend a reserved horseback ride on the beach with Summerland Beach Rides. Our stay at Sandyland Studio #4 exceeded expectations. The vibe was so relaxing and cozy. Such a great place to stay and Michael was a great host. We spent a lot of time just listening to the sound of the waves out on the patio, walking on the beach and riding our bikes around. The cleanliness of the home was pristine! We loved it so much , we had food delivered so we could just enjoy the space. Perfect location right on the beach, easy check in and out. I hope to come back soon! Thank you Michael for sharing your home with us :)

10/10 Mini beach getaway

My daughters and I had the best getaway at Sandyland Studio for Spring Break! Michael made us feel so welcome with a hand written personalized note, which was so thoughtful! Pictures don’t do justice of how lovely and aesthetically pleasing this studio really is, gave all the beach vibes with it’s Carpinteria decor throughout the home. So clean and cozy! The location is just perfect and safe with kids, with just a few minutes walking distance to the beach, park and food locations. Michael’s local food recommendations was super helpful, we tried the brewery and The worker bee cafe-soo good! We were also able to take advantage of the community (heated) pool-the kids really enjoyed it! Sadly, our trip was not long enough! We tried to stay another night but because it was a busy time(Spring Break) it was not available but we are hoping to come back to Sandyland Studio this summer for more adventures! Next time we’ll take advantage of the fully loaded beach cart-soo convenient!

BOOK THIS CARPINTERIA GEM

Michael's place is even better than the photos show - it is beautifully decorated & we felt so pampered during our stay! He provided everything we could have needed, from a fully stocked kitchen, to lots of towels, bed linens, blankets & pillows, to beach equipment to toiletries - its all there. We didn't need a single thing other than food during our stay. The beds were comfy, everything is new & the place was spotless. There are ceiling fans & ample lighting. A lot of care went into planning what his guests might need - lots of storage, night stands with built in charging stations (amazing!!), board games, wifi, a giant TV to stream what we wanted, we were just blown away. Keyless entry was a breeze, the complex was quiet, the location is highly desirable & we felt very safe. We parked in front of our unit & the unit opens onto Sandyland Rd. Shops, restaurants, the grocery store & the farmer's market were all within walking distance. We were on a girls trip & felt safe to walk at night to go grab a bite to eat. The train station is a 6 minute walk & we took the train into Santa Barbara for the day. In the morning we walked across the street to the beach with our coffee & soaked up the morning sun. Michael provided check-in information the day before our arrival & let us know he was just a message away if we needed anything. He even welcomed us with the nicest note & snacks!! Thank you, Michael, for creating a beautiful space for people to stay!
