Loved the house and location, it was very well equipped, previous guest comments about baby gates and dish towels was very helpful, note baby gates need to be very wide! We really enjoyed the pool! My only complaint was King BR’s outer shower curtain had mold on it, the floors, indoor railings and porch furniture needing cleaning. Otherwise, great vacation house!

Bike week

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful home with plenty of space. Enjoyed the evenings sitting on the balconies. The close walk to the beach every morning was great! Would definitely stay here again!

Great time with family

Our family had a great time staying here. It was a great location only having a short walk to the beach. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pool was nice to have and was cleaned daily. The property overall was great. We did have to buy bags of ice because the ice maker was very slow making ice. Other than that, it had everything we needed.

A delightful stay at The Missing Peace - July 2024

Everything about the property was great - all as advertised! We had 13 adults and a 2-month-old and had plenty of room. Having the pool was a big plus in the mornings and early evenings. The porches with rocking chairs were great gathering places, especially later in the day. The 3 driveways provided convenient parking for our 4 cars and a small trailer. We considered renting a golf cart but found with the short walk to the beach it wasn't necessary. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our week and highly recommend The Missing Peace.

Family Beach Time

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 1st time renting from Bask Away. Everything went very smoothly. We had a few issues, things were resolved quickly. The house was exactly as pictured. The only thing I would change is a refrigerator with filter water & also they need to provide more kitchen towels. One set of dishcloth/ drying cloth is not enough. I would use this service again.

Great Family Vacation House - Some Updates Needed

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The size and location of this house were perfect! Each bedroom having their own bathroom (and just one shared on the 3rd floor) was a game changer for the families and kids on this trip. The walk to the beach was short and easy for back and forth trips throughout the day. And the access point is truly right at the end of the road and very easily accessible.Having an outdoor shower in the garage floor was another huge bonus (there was even a bar of soap in it!)The house was clean, but I would not call it spotless. When we first arrived (and took off our shoes) our feet turned black shortly from the floors. I did appreciate there was a broom available so we could clean the sand throughout the week. There was a vacuum as well but it did not work. The furniture on the porches need a good cleaning.The general condition of the house was good, but needed some TLC. Pros: The furniture was great, it was decorated so nicely, lots of room around the table for family meals, and the beds were comfortable. It was great having furniture around the pool and on the porches.Cons: There were toilet paper holders missing, the ice machine didn't work, a towel rack in one bathroom was broken, and the blinds in one of the bedrooms broke off of the door when we tried to open them.The grounds team was super responsive and did come to fix the items mentioned within 48 hours. If something is wrong, say something and they will fix it!! And the team that came were so professional and helpful. My only feedback around the condition of the home is for the property managers. I was told there is someone who cleans and inspects the home in between visitors . If this is the case, addressing these issues or at least making the renters aware that they're present and you'll have someone come during the week to address them would go a long way. Traveling all day with kids then walking in to issues to immediately address was a bit frustrating

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was awesome! We had plenty of room (6 adults, 4 teens) , house was very clean, nicely decorated and felt very comfortable. The location was amazing. Only a minute walk to the beach . You could see the beach from the 3rd floor balcony. The house is only about 8 min walk to the surfside pier ( restaurants, bars, shops). I think the location is perfect! Very quiet street yet very close to everything. The kitchen was fully stacked, we had everything we needed. The only recommendation I would have is a bigger grill. There was a small charcoal grill provided but with a larger group of ppl that accommodates this house, the grill was too small. That was the only thing we missed. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful and we would def rent again!!Rental agency was very responsive. We had problems with the WiFi and the agency sent someone right away to resolve the problem.
