The Farmhouse. Quiet, modern. Family Friendly. Short drive to the beach!

Newly renovated farmhouse in a very quiet area. Lots of outside space for outdoor activities including porch sitting. The all new kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, microwave and Keurig coffee maker, as well as, all the regular necessities. The house has Smart TVs in the living room and game room. The house is next door to the owner’s home situated so that all will have their needed privacy and space. Covered carport and plenty of parking space is available. Enjoy the 2 main beaches without dealing with lots of traffic. Beaches are close, 15 miles to Atlantic Beach and 20 miles to Emerald Isle. Grocery stores are available within approximately 5 miles. Several fast food restaurants are located nearby. Come stay and enjoy making great memories. This is not a party house. If you are planning on loud and/or late night parties this is not the place for you. This is a quiet residential/farming community. Bugs are a part of the coastal area. They are part of the natural ecosystem. Be assured this house has been cleaned and there is a regular pest control service in place. Please do not leave windows and doors open.

Excellent stay

We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse, everything was great, lots of accommodations were provided. Hosts were fantastic! Great location as we were there working at Cherry point and it was a quick beautiful drive to and from the base.

Amazing accommodation

The home and property were amazing. The host was very polite and made things easy to access as well as clearly listing rules and need to know info. The property was spacious and quite comfortable, close to almost everything you need and just right for a family getaway.

Fantastic stay. We got there late and they had k- cups and creamer and water for us in the morning. They had everything covered for a wonderful stay. Lots of room, highly , highly recommended

Amazing for Families

We absolutely loved our stay, I traveled with my husband and 3 kids and my dad and younger sister. There was enough privacy for the 2 families. We also invited our family over to have dinner and had an amazing time throwing football in the huge open yard area and swinging on the porch and rocking chairs!

Very clean and comfortable!

Our stay was excellent, check in was easy. The house was spotless! The area was nice and quiet. Owners do a great job keeping the house clean and stocking it with the things you might need! It had a bedroom just for the kids, along with a great space for them to play and a few great toys games and puzzles. I would highly recommend this rental!

The Farmhouse

For us, the house was in a perfect location, near where my sister’s wedding was held. The house was lovely. The decor matched the farmhouse theme. The beds were very comfortable. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the house since we were preparing for the wedding . We will come stay again if the need arises.

What a fantastic find!

We spent the weekend here, as it was close to my dad's house in Morehead City (about 15 minutes). We came down to celebrate a big birthday with him. This house was great! Squeaky clean, modern (it has been renovated) and nice and quiet location. It had all of the amenities we could ask for. Very spacious as well with a nice lot that has wonderful old trees, and backs up to some farmland. I would highly recommend, and we hope that it is available the next time we visit the area as we will definitely go back.

The Farmhouse was everything that my family wanted/needed on our trip to the Havelock area! We attended my niece's wedding with my 89 year old mother. The Farmhouse is all on one level, which was perfect. It had 4 bedrooms, so it accommodated my whole family. Everything was so clean and organized (everything is conveniently labeled). We had some down time, and the large living room/dining area was a great place to hang out. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a couple of simple meals. We had a couple of questions during our stay, and the hosts answered them quickly. I would highly recommend The Farmhouse to anyone staying in the New Bern/Havelock/Atlantic Beach area.

Great place, very clean

I stayed in the house with my spouse and 5 friends (7 adults total). The house was very clean, in a location that was good for us. The owner was quick to respond to questions and offered helpful suggestions about things we might want to do in the area. We were very happy with our stay.

Fantastic for Families!

This place was perfect for my family. We needed space for 3 kids under 6 and 4 adults and the space could not have been better. The host was very communicative, the property is very neat and clean, and they even have a playroom for the kids. We had such a great stay and would like to return again!

Best VRBO I've ever stayed at

This place is absolutely beyond amaze. From the location, the cleanliness, the accomodations, and the friendliest host. Everything you could think of or imagine was provided. The only thing you need to pack and bring with you is your clothes because everything else is provided by the host. We will definitely stay again and it will be our new tradition with family to stay here. If you're not staying here you're missing out.

Absolute heaven on earth

Very clean, elegant, beautifully decorated, well stocked with everything imaginable. The host was so sweet and very attentive to all of our needs, which we didn't have any because she had thought of everything. All we had to bring with us was our clothes and bath soap because she furnished everything else including shampoo and conditioner. The host and the house made us feel like we where at home away from home. The location was perfect. It was in a quiet rural neighborhood in the country but close enough to everything. We just left today but have already booked our next trip. We will definitely make this a traditional trip and place to stay. This has been one of the best experiences we have had with a VRBO.
