The house was perfect. They were stocked on all kinds of things in case you forget something (toothbrushes, razors, etc.). The beds were extremely comfortable. The house is close to the grocery store, restaurants, parks, etc. and a short drive to the beach. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back next year!

Ann's Place was perfectly planned. There was no detail left undone. Everything was spotless, clean and welcoming. I cannot begin to say enough fantastic things about the property.

Everything was spotless and so well-organized. The home had all the necessary amenities and then some! Wonderful home. Beds were comfortable. Showers were hot. It was perfect!

Wonderful spot!!

My family and I stayed here for our cousin's wedding, and it was honestly great! The house was thoughtfully set-up and the host was really quick to communicate when I had questions. We already recommended it to our family in town for future guests!

Probably one of my favorite stays in NC. Host thought of every amenity and entertainment you could think of. House was way bigger than I anticipated and plenty of room for my kids to separate and play with their Christmas stuff. Kitchen has everything you needed to cook and plenty of seating.I will definitely try and reserve again in the future

Great place to stay!

The property was clean, comfortable, spacious and fun. Well organized, easy to get to and in a nice neighborhood with shops and restaurants close by. A home away from home. Awesome place for family to get away.

They did amazing. Thought of everything. It was our first stay at a VRBO and they set the bar. It was clean and a cozy home away from home.

Amanda has done a great job of creating a fun and carefree getaway spot. We enjoyed the walkability to the local coffee shop and the cleanliness of the property. The "no cleaning fee" was a bonus. The extra touches like snacks in the kitchen and diapers in the kids room really put this place above its competitors.

Nice location + stay as-described!

We loved being able to walk to the coffee shop, brewery, and ice cream shop. Thoughtful amenities in the house, too. We'd do it again!

Extremely comfortable with many extras

Property was everything we hoped for and more! Grandkids had a blast with the game room and floor plan. Really appreciated the quiet neighborhood and short walk to the coffee shop. Host communication was outstanding, house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!!

We enjoyed our stay for many reasons, and I’ll mention a few. The house is clearly well cared for, with thoughtful coastal accents that make you feel the beach is nearby, even if you're not directly on it. The beds were very comfortable, and both the kitchen and bathrooms were exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed. The kids' playroom was a great bonus, especially on rainy days. The location is ideal, just 20 minutes or less from Beaufort, Morehead City, and Atlantic Beach, making it easy to explore the area. This home has all the amenities you'd want, in a location that truly puts you close to everything.

Very convenient to family. Great restaurant's. Over all a pleasant experience. I like the no smoking , no pets rule. I love blankets and beach towels were readily available .

Wonderful Vacation

We had a wonderful time here. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only issue we had was the temperature in the house. The back bedrooms stayed way to warm for us, while the middle bedroom was freezing!

Relaxing

We work evenings at a near by project and needed a home to rest during the day. This home is clean and has everything that was needed. Host attentive at all times. Thank you.

Chef’s Kiss

Stayed here for a short weekend stay with friends for a wedding. The home was very clean and welcoming (the message board with my name on it was a nice touch!). The complimentary items were wonderful and helpful if we forgot something! Easy check in and check out process and the host was very communicative the entire time! Thanks again and will definitely recommend and stay again whenever we are in that area!

Awesome Getaway

What a wonderful place we chose to celebrate our Marine's 21st birthday! The neighborhood is quiet and the location is close to shopping. The beaches are approximately 35 minutes away. The owner thought of everything to accommodate guests. You will not be disappointed in your stay here. We will definitely revisit! Thank you, Amanda for your thoughtfulness.

Great place to stay for the price

This house was amazing for 7 people to stay. Owner had a flare for the personal touches that most places don’t think about! There was a welcome sign and plenty of extra necessities throughout the home! Things we hadn’t even thought of! I figured with 3 adults and 4 children, we’d be cramped and on top of each other… it was exactly the opposite! There were a few hiccups that were rectified almost immediately. I wished we were closer to the beach but couldn’t complain with the location! We will most likely stay here again in the future!

Roaches and Rules

The property looked nice and the interior was colorful. There were two things that negatively impacted our stay. The first night as we settled in and began to fix dinner, we saw roaches. There was a large can of roach spray underneath the sink so we used it. Needless to say, tjat affected our appetite. We contacted the owner and she informed us that she didn't have a pest control contract and had not had a problem before. This was difficult to believe as we found the almost empty can of spray in the kitchen. She assured us she would contact pest control the following week and would treat the house's exterior. Each day we saw some roaches both crawling in the kitchen and back bathroom. After the roaches wete spotted, we began to check the beds and found spots on the sheets in one of the bedrooms. We washed the sheets and the spots came out which made us think the sheets weren't clean. Underneath the beds, we founds lots of dust. In the kitchen the venthood was very dusty and the cabints above the stove was not cleaned and had dead roaches. The home needs to be deeply cleaned. We paid a cleaning fee as part of the rental however, it was not very clean. Last, the home contained several postings related to what not to do in the home. There was a set of rules in the living room beside the sign in book which was understandable, however there were other signs posted in the home. This helped to make us feel unwelcome. I have not had that experience before.

Hi Deborah. We never stated we didn't have pest control, I stated (and I quote) "that's not an issue we usually have" when you said there were bugs. You asked for an exterminator to visit on a Saturday and we were not able to get them there same day. That is a big difference. I offered to pick up some spray in the meantime and said I would make them aware of the issue so they could address when they reopened the following week. We were there in an hour and sprayed the outside and offered to spray the inside, to which you never responded. Also, we do not have "other signs posted in the home", only in the welcome packet and one note in the kitchen. Our rules are few and simple, that have been put in place because of past issues (no open flames, don't cut on the counter, don't move furniture, no food in bedrooms). No other issues of cleanliness were ever brought to my attention and I can assure you, and other guests, that all linens, sheets as well as quilts, are washed between each and every guest. We pride ourselves in having a clean home, as past reviews both before and after your stay show. As I fully demonstrated, we make ourselves available to resolve all issues to the best of our ability, but they have to be brought to our attention in order for us to do so. Happy traveling!
