Great little place in the cutest area! We had a great time, it was nice to be able to walk or just drive 2 mins to get to all the food and restaurants. Cute dog park down the road too. Pool was amazing. Host very nice and responsive. Very clean.

Communication with the host was excellent from the start, and continued throughout our stay. When there was minor confusion about the WiFi password, Hannah made sure it was quickly and easily straightened out. That's great hosting!The cottage itself is charming. Our family of 5 had a fantastic long weekend: our kid loved the bunkbed, we appreciated the washer/dryer, and we ALL enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Would absolutely stay again.

Great house and neighborhood within short walking distance to San Marco’s restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed the pool and patio set up. The furnishings are nice and beds were comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy to.get in, the place was as described and clean. All questions answered in a timely mamner and no extra cleaning for check out was an unexpected bonus! We'd definitely stay again. Thank you for being wonderful hosts!

This location was perfect for us. There are several restaurants, shops/bouqtes, and a grocery store within a 5-mile radius. The neighborhood was safe enough to walk the streets in the evenings; however, it was too hot during our stay. The pool/spa is perfect for a couple. Our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating, at our beck and call if need be. The house had all the charm of an older house (which we loved), with plenty of upgrades; it was very clean and had plenty of room. However, if you plan to cook, I suggest letting them know in advance; there are not many options in the pots-and-pans department. You will need containers for any leftovers as well. My husband and I look forward to staying again!

Nice house. Very clean and well stocked with supplies. Nice neighborhood. Restaurants are in walking distance. Pet friendly neighborhood. We loved our stay at this adorable home. The owner is awesome. Will stay again.

6 of us and a dog stayed at this lovely house! It’s absolutely beautiful in a nice quiet neighborhood but close enough to enjoy the restaurants and ambiance of Jacksonville. 10/10 recommend!

The house is conveniently located close to San Marco Square and other nearby businesses. Easy walking distance if you are not looking drive a whole lot. This is an ideal place for adults looking for 2 bedrooms. The third bedroom has bunkbeds but you need to cross through this room to go to laundry room and out the back door. May also work for children but I would not recommend for adults if looking for privacy. The place itself is clean and well kept. It has nice upgrades and definitely comfortable and cozy. The pool/hot tub is a nice amenity but controlled centrally. The hot tub heater turned off early the first night and was a struggle to keep on our second night. The pool jets and hot tub are intertwined and not easily controlled. Planning in advance is recommended by the host but not ideal for guests that don't plan their trip that way. This was disappointing for us since we booked this property for those amenities.

Clean and comfortable

Lovely home which was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to relax for a large group or family. Nice quiet neighborhood and convenient location for restaurants, groceries, shops, and museums. Only 20 minutes from the airport.

We had a nice visit and the location was very convenient for some teens attending a speech and debate camp in downtown Jacksonville. The home is located very close to the Publix as well as the shops, restaurants, and river in downtown San Marco, which are within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again, but some things are important to note. The backyard has a fence around the pool area, but be aware that if you are bringing a dog, the fence is not enclosed on each side of the house. It provides privacy but not complete containment. The house has a lovely set up and is very clean, but the den furniture and carpet in the bedrooms is a bit worn with some staining. The house has obviously been well rented. We brought food in each night, so we did not cook meals, but if dining in, be aware that utensils, especially spoons are in short supply. Lastly, the pool overall was clean and the teen boys with us thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in it at night. However, although the hot tub was supposed to be heated, it always stayed the temperature of the pool. It could have been user error, but the temperature never changed even though the controls would show heat on. If this feature is very important to you, just confirm working order with the host. Communication with the host was top notch, and she would respond very quickly. We enjoyed our stay.

This property was very well stocked & the best supplied as far as utensils and other items that we’ve ever had at a VBRO. The manager was very, very responsive and wanted to make absolutely sure our stay was perfect. The neighborhood was perfectly situated to grocery stores and nice restaurants. Parking was very easy at the property. I would definitely stay again. A very special call out to the property manager for making our stay so special. And a thanks to the cleaning crew for keeping the place spotless when we got there.

Great locale, close to everything, cozy!

Went for a commencement at UNF. Excellent spot! Close to so much within walking distance. Pet friendly and so was the neighborhood. Plenty of room for 6 of us + a Frenchie 🐾

Cozy cottage

The San Marco house suited all our needs. Walking distance to Starbucks and shops. Easy drive to ferry for Jags game. Would be very close to children’s hospital and downtown. The house is small but comfortable and clean. I very much enjoyed being able to walk a few miles each morning in safe surrounding neighborhood. Didn’t get a 5 star rating only because I was unaware to warm the pool in winter meant drain the hottub. Thus you couldn’t have both. Of course this wouldn’t be an issue in summer months. :) altogether a very enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely stay. We were there for 1 night and paid to check-in early, which was totally worth it! We hung by the pool and grilled out before our concert, which was an 8 minute Uber to the venue. We will return :)
