We pretty used the property just to sleep as we were on the go most of the time. Comfortable and everything we needed was there. Enjoyed the brightly colored decor and the submarine pictures. Convenient to downtown, to Old Mistik Village, Grey Sail Brewery, and the Subforce Museum/USS Nautilus.

Lovely spot in a creative and comfortable use of the whole downstairs of a mid-entry style single family home. We felt so at home over our four day stay that we added to the decor by purchasing a marble base gold spindle paper towel dispenser for the kitchen counter. Our hope is that the next time we are visiting family in Mystic that Gwen’s unit is available!!!!!

The place was as advertised.. However the furniture in sitting area was uncomfortable. We needed to empty the dehumidifier several times during the day. Gwen was most gracious .

We enjoyed our stay in Gwen's Key West apartment. It was exactly what we were looking for in Mystic. The apartment is clean and even though Gwen lives in Key West the tenant upstairs is Gwen's cohost. We had one concern on the day we checked in and Gwen and Sarah worked together to promptly address it for us. We appreciated the family history that Gwen provided, especially the paintings from her mom and the artifacts of her father's Navy service. I enjoyed the access to the property out back and the trails behind the house. You can connect to an extensive hiking trail in the nature preserve that passes through the entirety of Groton, mainly in the woods. I would recommend Gwen's place.

Perfect place for a small family

This place was fantastic for our small family of 3. The location is perfect for enjoying Mystic, and the yard was amazing for us and our little daughter.

Excellent stay and wonderful vibes

This was an amazing place to stay and Gwen was very responsive both before and during our stay. The tips and recommendations that were given were extremely helpful. We very much enjoyed the eclectic decor and the “home on vacation” feel. We would absolutely stay here again.

It’s not clear if “funky” was meant in a positive or negative way, as it’s definitely often used by our guests to describe the colorful décor in several past 5-star reviews :). Great stay!

I loved it there!! Felt at home. Favorite part of the place was the colorful kitchen! :) And everything was so close.

Cute little escape

Excellent way to visit mystic - long walk / easy bike ride to the tourist spots during the day and a quiet neighborhood getaway in the evening.

Lovely stay in Mystic

We had a wonderful stay at Gwen’s place. It is situated in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood and is within walking distance of downtown Mystic. It had everything we needed and more. Highly recommended! Gwen is so friendly and gave us local recommendations too.

The property was very clean, had all the essential amenities we needed for a three day trip, and my four year old was obsessed with the decor. The neighborhood was quiet and had sidewalks for us to take nice evening strolls. We were within walking or driving distance to everywhere we wanted to do, no more than 10 minutes from everything we needed. We had a great stay and would definitely come back in the future!

We enjoyed this beautiful 1 bedroom so much that we will be back. Clean and just a charm. Niice large back yard with a firepit. Bunnies and turkies with tthere young ones. Very close to downtown mystic

Very happy with the property and host

Property was everything we expecting, as per the online description. Clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. And the host was there to answer questions and gave us lots of information about the area. Overall, we were very happy

Cozy with eclectic decor

This was enough to meet our needs for the amount of time we spent there. Was disappointed in quality of available cookware and lack of attention to cleaning in certain areas.

A gem

We had a great stay. The fire pit was awesome. We had a little problem with outlets in the kitchen, but Sarah upstairs helped us to get them working. Gwen was available by text through the whole process. Would definitely stay there again. Comfortable, quiet and funky.

Anniversary night in mystic

Overall this property was very cute and cozy! It was accurately described in the listing. Minor issue with the garage door entrance but it was addressed quickly and didn’t affect our stay. Tenant upstairs was helpful and polite and we still had our privacy. I would stay here again :)
