A wonderful opportunity for someone looking for a fun Family vacation at Ocean Lakes Family Campground. Complementary golf car included for driver’s over 25 and plenty of room to park two full size vehicle’s.

Ocean Lakes is a complete vacation destination. The Sandy Harbor family fun center has the “Splash Zone” water park with slides and lazy river and game center that kids always love. The Nature Center can provide learning during your vacation. There are several playgrounds near the beach, an Olympic size outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool for year round enjoyment, a convenience store, Sandy’s Meet and Eat restaurant, the Sandy Harbor cafe, and the “snack shak” to grab a bite.

Ocean Lakes charges $15 per vehicle per day for parking. This must be paid directly to Ocean Lakes and is not included in our cost quote. Reservations made in advance can qualify for express check-in, save a few dollars and beat the lines on check-in day.

Ocean Lakes is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still, a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north is all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world’s largest Ferris wheels. For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world’s largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it’s just a few minutes south.

Ass in the Sand Beach Rentals and any operators/sponsors of our site are not affiliated with or sponsored by Ocean Lakes Family Campground, L.P., the operator of Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Ocean Lakes Properties, The Jackson Companies or any of their subsidiaries.
Vacation Rental Agreement - Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions, along with the confirmation email We send You after You make Your reservation (“Confirmation Email”), form a binding contract between You and Us, effective as of 24 hours after We send the Confirmation Email to You (“Agreement Date”).
In these Terms and Conditions, “Agreement” means these Terms and Conditions and the Confirmation Email collectively. “You” and “Your” means the person or persons making the reservation and those who will be staying at the Property as guests. “We,” “Our,” “Ours,” and “Us” means Ass in the Sand Beach Rentals, LLC
We manage the rental property located at the address identified in the Confirmation Email(“Property”). With this Agreement, You and We (collectively, “Parties”) wish to agree on the terms of Your renting the Property on a short-term basis for vacation purposes. Therefore, the Parties agree as follows:
1. By making a reservation and payment on Our website, travel agent (airbnb, home away etc.) or any other means, You are agreeing to accept this Agreement within 24 hours of Our sending You the Confirmation Email.
2. Reservation.

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, You will rent the Property solely for short-term vacation purposes between the “Check-In Date” and “Check-Out Date”identified in the Confirmation Email. Your lease of the Property will start at 4:00 p.m. on the Check-In Date, and will end at 09:00 a.m. on the Check-Out Date. You may not check in early or check out late without Our prior agreement. However, We may require check in to occur later than 5:00 p.m. during peak holiday periods.
3. Rent and Other Charges.

You will pay Us the full amount of rent, taxes and other fees stated in the Confirmation Email (collectively, “Total Charges”). Rent may be combined with other Fees and will be stated in the Confirmation Email.
(a) Payment, You authorize Us to charge 100% of the Total Charges to Your credit card when You make the reservation.



(b) Security Deposit will appear as a hold on your credit card during your stay. They hold will disappear if no damage is reported.
(1) Certain charges may be designated as a “Security Deposit” in the Confirmation Email. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, We may deduct from the Security Deposit any costs for damages, extra cleaning, or repair of the Property, furniture, and other items in the Property which You cause or permit to occur, plus any sales tax, general excise tax, transient accommodations tax, and any other applicable taxes.

(2) If the Security Deposit is not sufficient to cover any costs or damages caused by You or for which You are responsible under this Agreement, You will be responsible for paying Us the difference promptly upon Our request.

(h) Changes to Reservation. We have no obligation to agree to a change in Your reservation.

4. Cancellations.


(a) 100% refund up to 30 days before arrival and 50% 14 days before arrival.
(b) To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law: (1) We may cancel Your reservation at any time for any reason, in Our sole and absolute discretion, and if We do so, We will refund You the Total Charges, including the Nonrefundable Reservation Fees; (2) We may move up Your Check-Out Date for any reason in Our sole and absolute discretion, in which case We will refund You a proportionate percentage of the Total Charges, including the Nonrefundable Reservation Fees; and (3) We will not be liable to You for any damages if We cancel Your reservation or move up Your Check-Out Date.

5. Holdover.

If You fail to check out and give Us possession of the Property on time on the Check-Out Date, We may charge You daily rent for the time You holdover at a rate equal to the lesser of: (a) 200% of the amount of the daily rent set forth in the Confirmation Email; or (b) the maximum rate permitted by applicable law. Law enforcement will also be utilized as necessary to escort you from the property.
6. No Assignment or Subleases.

You may not assign any part of this Agreement, sublease any portion of the Property, or grant any license or right to use any part of the Property. Any attempted assignment, sublease, or grant without Our written consent will be void.
7. Guest Rules.


(a) Although We may provide a starter supply of toiletries and amenities (such as toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and dish-washing liquid, etc.) as a courtesy, We have no obligation to replenish those items. Additional supplies are Your responsibility.

(b) If the Property is equipped with a telephone or digital television, You may not make long-distance telephone calls or order movie or event programming. You will pay Us any long-distance or other telephone toll charges and any movie or event programming charges incurred, together with a 40% surcharge to cover Our administrative costs.

(c) If the Property is equipped with a television, video player, or related or similar electronics, replacement or repair is not guaranteed and no refunds will be given for malfunctions of such equipment.

(d) If the property is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer or any other large appliance, replacement or repair is not guaranteed and no refunds will be given for malfunctions of such equipment/and or is at the discretion of the homeowner.

(e) You will not give access to or permit any guests or occupants in the Property other than the individual or individuals specifically identified as You in this Agreement.

(f) You assume responsibility for any damages to or theft from the Property, including towels and linens.

(h) You may not make any alterations to the Property or its improvements, furniture, equipment, or other furnishings.

(i) A Pet Fee is applicable for stays at properties that are Pet Friendly.
This Fee is $75-$85 and does not include and damages caused by pets.
(j) Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Violations will result in an automatic $500 fine plus the cost of carpet/upholstery cleaning, and any other damages as a result.
You may use the ash tray provided on the outdoor seating area. Please dispose of your ashes and butt's after your vacation.

Awesome house!

Its my family’s first time staying at this location but our 2nd time staying with Michelle and Jason. Both times it was a seemless check in and check out. The one time we had a question they were quick to respond. The house itself was really nice and spacious. The elevator was a nice convenience for my elderly mother. I highly recommend any rental from Michelle and Jason.

Great location and lots of fun in OL!

We've been staying in Ocean Lakes for a few years and will definitely be back to this location! Owners were super quick to respond to messages and helpful when a problem (to no one's fault) arose! Would definitely recommend!

So Fun!

This property was great for us! Ocean Lakes has really grown into a great family destination. We loved the golf cart and used the elevator to haul or stuff up the stairs. Under the house was a great space for connecting. The porch offered great people watching. Everything was very nice

Friends Getaway

Wonderful house with plenty of room for 6 adults and our FurBaby! Well stocked kitchen and a very relaxing porch/deck for fellowshipping. The elevator was a blessing for our traveler who cannot do steps, and the 6-seater golf cart was a lot of fun. Hosts were very nice and helpful.

Great beach house

Upon checking in noticed that the house was extremely clean and saw a nice welcoming gift with essentials such as extra toilet paper, coffe K-cups, laundry detergent, etc. Very well stocked kitchen with everything needed for week long stays. The house was perfect in my opinion. Requested for the golf cart cover due to being a bit cold and they came next day with one and placed onto cart for us. The limo golf cart is extremely nice. Nice amount of power and has an auto break feature when letting off the gas. Though we didn’t get to enjoy the patio and deck downstairs I could easily see this being a nice addition during the summer months. I’ll definitely try and book this place during summer if they aren’t already booked up. Thank you for allowing us to stay a few days for a mini vacation.

Very Enjoyable

House was clean, functional and met our needs. The elevator was convenient for taking luggage in and out. Use of the golf cart was a very nice perk. The Ocean Lakes community has a lot of amenities. We enjoyed our stay.
