Great beach getaway

The property was very clean and the communication was excellent! Wish it was walkable to the beach but you have to drive (though it’s a very short drive- 2 mins)

Really great location and an easy walk to Michael Ellis Beach & Seawall which made morning walks the best! The condo pool was small, small for the community and typically crowded. However there was ample parking and really appreciated having one and a half baths.

Great vacation spot for kiddos and pets!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Whale Hello There. Everything was clean and lovely. The pool is warm and well maintained (the kids’ absolutely favorite spot!) and close to the beach, just a few blocks away. I recommend getting a beach parking pass to make everything really easy if you’ve got kids / docs / circus. Check in and out was a breeze, nothing complicated or cumbersome. Will be coming back!!

Good place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was good place. Might come back later. Couple of issues we saw:- head clearance on the double bunk bed was low. The first level clearance was too low you'll hit your head if you don't watch out. Even for kids!- Maybe owners can provide netflix account in the TV but otherwise it's good.- Internet is super fast. Amazing.- Pest control guy came in for 2 minutes. Property managers had to coordinate with us. It was annoying because we don't want to be disturbed while on vacation. It was only for 2 minutes but I have never experienced this in other properties.- pots and pans are a bit old but it's fine. Beggars can't be choosers. I am thankful there are utensils. - we only got 2 dishwasher soap and 1 detergent soap for a 6-night stay. They should be mindful. I think it makes sense to give more.- There's a camera for back patio but there is notice so it's fine.- There's free grill around the area in the yacht club. They should mention it as perk. It was awesome.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the fast internet and the great location near the complex grill. Pest control is scheduled quarterly, so occasional brief visits may happen if access is allowed—thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your notes about the bunk bed, kitchen supplies, and will pass them along to improve future stays. Hope to welcome you back again!

Whale of a Good Time !!!

Absolutely as advertised...Clean, new, we'll appointed. Good value. Great communication from booking thru checkout. Only minor drawback was some construction noise. Appears the construction is near done and wrapping up so this shouldn't be an issue going forward. I rented a 3bd 3bath a couple weeks previous in the same complex. Great time.

Best Place Ever!

We have been visiting Corpus every summer for the past 10 years, and now we have found our property of choice! My husband, two daughters and their families loved the condo, the dock for fishing, the quietness, and LOVED the pool and area around it! My grandchildren said they want to always come back to this place!

Great Family Stay - leave the dogs and valuables at home

We spent the morning of our check-in at the beach, we arrived right before our check-in time and were able to spray off all our sand and salt in the hose provided outside before entering. The condo was nice and clean and maintained temperature really well. We had everything we needed and it was a short walk to either pool. The furnishings were very nice and beds very comfy. Our 1.5 year old did really well in the kids room with a pack in play (we brought) though I wish there had been a blackout curtain to keep him asleep longer in the AM. My biggest concern was with the actual property- both pools were very dirty and it seemed the filters just weren't keeping up. In one pool there was a green film floating on top of the water. The property claims to be dog friendly but our dogs are rather particular and prefer not to do their business on the course rock surfaces provided as "dog restroom areas" all the grass nearby was riddled with stickers and thorns that we discovered and then dug out of paws with cosmetic tweezers. Not ideal when we paid a good sum extra to bring our dogs over boarding them. We weren't aware that the property is still under construction and the workers began banging around at 5:30am, not exactly the relaxing family trip I had in mind. My last and final complaint is that it is very obvious that the property does not change the security codes between guest stays, as we were loading the car for check-out another family was able to enter our condo with the same code provided to us before their allotted check-in time. Scary that this could have happened while we were away from our valuables. The property issues are not the fault of the condo owner so our review remains high. The property management really needs some adjusting.
