Welcome to Our Old Kentucky Home! Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath home has been completely up remodeled, while still retaining it’s sweet, old home character! Our home is cozy and tastefully decorated.

We are only minutes to the Ark Encounter and Williamstown Lake, walking distance to downtown Williamstown boasting several cute shops and restaurants, 45 minutes to the Creation Museum, 1 hour to downtown Cincinnati, 45 minutes to Lexington, 30 minutes to historic Georgetown and Georgetown College, and 30 minutes to the Kentucky Horse Park. We are very centrally located to numerous attractions!

We have 2 cozy bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. Both have brand new, super comfy mattresses! For those who need some additional sleeping space, we have a queen size pull out sofa bed in the living room! We have a pack n play available for an infant or young toddler sleeping space. There will be a $100 charge per guest over our limit.
We have lots of board games and cards, along with a vintage foosball game for our guests! We want to create an atmosphere of nostalgia with many screen-free family time options! We have also started our own little library in our home! We pray that you’ll find time for some quiet downtime and enjoy a variety of great books! We have something for everyone and will continually be adding more!
We have 2 completely remodeled bathrooms with a stand up shower in one and a tub/shower combo in the other.
We do have a couple of small steps in our home as well as a step down from the driveway.
We allow 1 small dog under 25lbs. There is a $120 pet fee if approved. Pets must be crated if you leave the home. No pets are allowed on furniture. If there is excessive pet hair or mess found, we will charge additional fees. We do not have a fenced in yard, so please use your discretion when taking your dog outside. Our neighbors do have dogs. Please pick up any pet mess left in the yard before leaving.
During the warm spring and summer months we will have regular lawn care/landscaping and maintenance. We will do our very best to work around our guest schedule but there may be a chance you will see some of our maintenance team for a brief period to help keep our home as fresh as possible for you! Thank you for your understanding as we strive to keep our home neat and tidy for our guests!

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was close to the Ark. Which is where we took our family trip. The house was very clean and meet our expectations.

Great cottage… cozy and clean!

Small very efficient home which was the perfect set up for 2 couples relaxing and seeing the sights!!! The kitchen was awesome and having 2 bathrooms was excellent! Checking in and out and the getting in and out was great! We totally enjoying relaxing in the living room in the evening and our husbands found the cutest ice cream shop! Would definitely stay again!!!

Great getaway.

Enjoyed our stay as it was clean, comfortable and very convenient to the interstate. Our trip involved a visit to The Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum so this space was ideal for our family of three. We loved the touches of vintage country.

Friends get away

Travelled from Louisiana to Pigeon Forge then to Williamstown to see the Ark. Loved our stay. Highly recommend The Bean for coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches.

Great location and clean!

Very favorable impression of home. Clean and comfortable. Excellent location for visiting the Ark. great space for 4 adults to eat and relax/visit. No closets but for the 4 days we were there, the space worked fine.

Perfect overnight stay

Very clean and cozy home just as the pictures depict! Owners provided plenty of bath towels, toiletries and other essentials that most vrbo rentals don't include. We appreciated the stocked coffee bar, too! Comfortable and convenient lodging during our visit to The Ark !

Girls Trip!

We rented the cottage for our trip to The Ark for my mother’s 70th birthday. The cottage is adorable! Very comfortable and had everything we needed and more! I definitely recommend this property and would stay here in the future if we come back that way!!

The cottage is a great place to stay. I highly recommend it. The owners are very quick to respond. The cottage is just down the road from the Ark and the neighborhood was quiet, we enjoyed our stay.

The cottage is charming, very clean and well furnished to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. It’s on a quiet street. Parking the SUV was a bit of a challenge because of a power pole but wouldn’t deter us from a return visit. Two thumbs up to the hosts, they were easy to communicate with and gave timely and clear instructions in every aspect of the stay.

Stay here - you won’t regret it!

We had the absolute best time. The house was so quaint and well set up. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. Both beds were comfortable. We were sad to leave! Additionally, the neighborhood was very quiet and my daughter and I enjoyed the short walk to Main Street to enjoy ice cream and pizza. Truly a gem! If I ever find myself in this area again, I’ll be rebooking! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved Our Old Kentucky Home. The location, decor and amenities were top notch. The only change would be for consideration for senior adults and that would be the large, shaky rock at entrance. Steps with hand rails would be very helpful. Also, when and if you could upgrade mattress on fold-away bed and sofa bed would be nice for adults. Overall, we were very pleased.

The place was sweet and very nice. Made you feel like at home. The neighbors were very friendly and their dogs were very friendly and well behaved. Very cozy for two friends traveling together. Each had their own bedrooms and bathrooms. Little small, but very doable and comfortable. Highly recommended

Loved this cute little house!

Our family stayed at the property on a recent visit to the area. The home was exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Crisp sheets and fluffy towels.! Beautiful renovation to give a modern farmhouse vibe. Hosts go above and beyond on small touches to enhance your stay and ensure you feel welcome. Reminded of us of our grandma’s house in Damascus, Va including the faint reminiscent smell of an oil furnace heater from days long gone. LOVED the refrigerator! So very cool! Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Cute as a button, so clean you could eat off the floor!

The house is so adorable! Very cozy. The owners are super responsive and very helpful—attentive to the comfort and needs of their customers. There is not really an outdoor space for hanging out, but other than that it was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay in Williamstown!
