Beautifully decorated extra-large studio with separate kitchen. Queen-size bed, and a sitting area with a futon sofa. On the top floor, with Diamond Head and Palolo Valley views through floor-to-ceiling sound-proofing windows, this condo is quiet for sleeping. A neat feature of the condo is that there are windows on both sides, so there is a cross breeze (if you don't wish the ac) and terrific natural light.

Free unlimited very hi-speed optic fiber internet, television with free streaming services and any accounts that you'd like to add, DVD, a/c, stereo, and other extras included for your comfort and enjoyment.

As your home away from home, the condo is furnished with beach chairs, towels, snorkel equipment, and boogie board. The kitchen-- with full-size refrigerator--has pots/pans, dishes, flatware, stove, countertop oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, rice cooker, etc.

Covid-19 information for our travelers:
1. In addition to our normal great cleaning, we will use anti-viral cleaners with particular attention to heavily used items (knobs, switches, remotes, bath fixtures, etc.).
2. We will provide sanitizing liquid and mask in the condo.

Very comfortable & close to everything!

This studio was perfect for me, a solo traveler. It was “small but mighty” & turned out to be an oasis to recover from a fractured foot, which was the result of a bad fall on my 5th day here. Having supplies/groceries delivered was easy. My host was very responsive to the one small issue I had. Thanks for being a great host!

Best by the beach

Location was everything. We didn't need a rental car since bus stops were only a block or two from the property. Uber took care of our longer distance trips. Very short walks to beach, restaurants and shops. Loved the 10th floor sun deck with completely unobstructed view of Diamond Head. Sun deck overlooks the zoo. Enjoyed seeing the flamingos. Best host ever. Mike was so kind and quick to respond to our questions. He remained in constant communication as needed during our stay. Mahalo Mike!

Easy check in, location perfect to the beach and surrounding shops & food. My 13 yo slept on the futon and I slept on the bed. Host added personal touches that were very sweet and appreciated. Great experience.

Best Location, clean, comfortable and well equipped

We loved this condo and the generous/thoughtful amenities provided. Clean and set up with all you need. Excellent WI-FI. What a great location - being right on the edge of the action but with that wonderful park and quieter strip of beach so close 🙂 No need for a car if you are staying around Waikiki, walking is easy and pleasant, or for further afield the excellent bus service is at the door. Also loved the atmosphere, friendly front desk and era of the Waikiki Grand Hotel. The view of Diamond Head in all its glory and the beach and parklands from the floor 10 terrace is really something. There are tables and chairs here for an afternoon cocktail or dinner. We used the cooler (Esky) to keep our picnics at the park cool on a few occasions and great to have beach towels to lighten our luggage. Very quick communication made this last minute trip very easy for us to organise, Mahalo Mike! We hope to be back for a longer stay soon.

Checks all the boxes

Communication was excellent, the location was prefect. You can walk everywhere. Beach, food, shops all right there. The lanai was a bonus to enjoy our breakfast on and had beautiful views along with hearing the zoo animals . Elevators worked great. Mike has lots if baskets to put your stuff and all kinds of conveniences like pots and pans, beach toys, hats, even an iron ! I think it’s perfect for 2 people.

Great stay!

Mother and adult daughter. We stayed a month. Mike is a great host who provides caring, attentive hospitality. Communication was very clear and timely. The condo was clean and perfect for an extended stay. No complaints. Pros: friendly building, great access to the bus, directly across the street from an enormous park, half block to the beach, full size refrigerator, two burner stove, windows that open on both sides of the condo so always able to catch a breeze (air conditioning works great but I liked opening the windows better). Plenty of places to eat on the same block and hundreds of choices within easy walking distance. Great host!

Great location!

919 is an efficient property in an amazing location - steps from the zoo, the aquarium, beaches, bus and trolley stops, resturants, and beautiful parks. As it is a downtown location, there are urban noises at all times of the day. The baboon howls and lion roars from the zoo, however, are memorable!

Best place to stay in Honolulu, for the price

The place was very clean and stacked with everything that you would need for cooking and the beach. The bathroom was well supplied and even had a new toothbrush in case you forgot yours. Half a block from Waikiki beach, beautiful view of Diamondhead. Mike was easy to work with and always answered every question I asked. Great host! Would highly recommend!

Mike was very helpful in communicating before, during, and after my month-long stay in his unit which is conveniently steps away from Kuhio and Waikiki beaches. He even included delicious fresh-baked muffins.

Great location and accommodations

Our host Mike had clear instructions and communication from the beginning which made our check in process easy. He is very accommodating and thoughtful. The location is walking distance to the beach and all the shops and restaurants in Waikiki. The condo had all the necessities we needed on the trip. The condo was clean and quiet. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice little vacation condo

Worked well for us. Smaller then our home but bigger than our travel trailer on the mainland, it had every thing we needed and then some! A block from the beach, across the street from the zoo, and a nice breeze with the windows open. Mike, the owner, was great to work with. Mahalo and would stay again.

First visit to Hawaii

The accommodation was perfect for our family of three. It is across the street from the Waikiki beach. Mike is excellent host and we had a great vacation in Honolulu.

Great as advertised!

This rental is perfect for the price and location. The ONLY issue we had was purely the chaos of being in Honolulu and on the beach. Honolulu is a big city with its share of ‘big city issues’. Mike and his rental, however, were marvelous. It is ads advertised - a small studio with a lovely view of the city and mountains, and the community patio on top of the building is wonderful. You are across the street from the zoo and can hear the monkeys bark at one another every morning! If you want a true Oahu experience - this rental is a great home base ..

Just Wonderful

Everything was great. Zoo is across the street as is the beach. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Hotel staff very professional and helpful. The view from the room is great. The room had everything I needed, no more hotels for me, this is the way to go at Vrbo.

Right in the thick of WAIKIKI!

It was a fantastic and intriguing experience. Worked and played on waikiki for a month! We stayed pretty much across the street from the zoo and just a stone's throw from Queens Beach. Tons of surf, volleyball, tennis, with tons of food within walking distance. We ran free tennis clinics at nearby Kapiolani tennis courts and got to immerse ourselves in great community! During this 2nd tier status of the pandemic, Waikiki was definitely functioning but so very mellow. Almost haunting to see a Vegas-like populated environment almost look like a functioning ghost town. Sadly, lots of closed down shops lost to lack of business from covid. Although Hawaii is always beautiful to see and experience, sad because of the profound economic loss. Many old time ships/restaurants were lost. We wanted to help and give back to the economy and locals alike. We did the best we could with what we had. We worked and also ran the tennis clinics which we hoped were a hit. We had 15 show up for one court on our lat clinic day so I think the locals liked it. The rental was filled with great accommodations and was a very comfortable home base from where we worked and rested. We walked everywhere and it was great! Diamond head beach, Diamond Head, Kapiolani community college farmers market, Ala Moana mall and beaches, food places all up and down Kapahulu, all Waikiki beaches, Kalakaua ave shops and food places, everywhere! Great experience and this location really made it memorable. We vacuumed often due to the sand that accompanied us back to the pad from the beach. We hit the beach almost everyday. Standing barefoot in the ocean after tennis is heavenly! The windows in this location are huge and slide wide open. They give you the feeling of outdoor living when the trades blow through the property. The giant wall of Windows are mauka (mountain) facing and you can see some valleys and neighboring high rises. If you poke your head out of the windows a bit and look Southeast, you can see Diamond Head in all its glory beyond the far end of Kapiolani park. 11 o'clock am is social monkey hour (zoo sounds), and you can hear the roast of the lion from time to time. If the windows are open, you can hear all of the activity from the life surrounding you, when the windows are closed, it is completely peaceful. Wonderful super heavy glass windows and sliders. Very nice touch.

Home away from home

The entire experience was wonderful. Mike is an organized and excellent host. Booking the condo, check-in and check out were all easy. The condo was very clean, had all the cooking amenities we needed, great AC, comfy bed, quiet during the evening. We appreciated that a laundry room was available and easy to access. The location was ideal for our stay and just steps away from Wakiki Beach. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Mahalo!

The condo is amongst the largest on the property. On the top floor of the wing, and with sound-proofing windows, it is a tranquil place to return after the day's adventures. Originally built for longer stays, there windows on both sides to allow a cross breeze (if that is what you like; it is also air conditioned :-).
