The cottage is on a quiet beautiful lake (away from the noisy intensity of Silver Lake) and very close to Lake Michigan (recommend you visit Benona Township Park on Lake Michigan) The cottage is well appointed and stocked with lots of light and views of Stoney Lake. We shoulld have read the description more closely as we were surprised by the fact that the second bathroom was in a space attached to a large garage behind the cottage (the bonus space). The manager was very responsive including having one of the AC units fixed during our stay. Since the cottage is located close to the lake on presumably on sandy soil there is some mustiness despite the AC units in each room.Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time at the cottage and can recommend it to others.

A place of solitude in June

What an amazing place! We have rented a lot of vrbos, but have yet to find one with such character and comfort. Our family plans on making this a family tradition. Thank you for offering your place up to a busy family have quiet time together. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful spot on the lake!

Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay on a beautiful lake, Close to Silverlake, close to lLudington, and have such a comfortable, great, beautiful accommodation to stay at! My family and I have rented a fair share of cottages over the years, but I have not run across anything this nice, this new feeling, and this clean! Not to mention, this is a hidden gem of a lake and if you like to fish and try to make your way out to Lake Michigan, you will have the time of your life! Thank you for the opportunity to have had the chance to rent your place. We will certainly be back and turn it into a family tradition!

Glad we found this place

Our family was lucky to find this home. Its located on beautiful Stony Lake with great fishing. We stayed here for the Silver Lake Sand Dunes and it was perfectly located for all the activities we had planned. Including horse back riding, the dunes, fishing, and just going to lake Michigan. There is a awesome beach to visit Lake Michigan about 4-5 minutes away from the home. We even added a day to our stay to just spend more time at the house. The last day we went kayaking, caught fish, relaxed in the hot tub, and drove down to lake Michigan to see the sunset. We made a lot of priceless memories and are looking forward to coming back next year!

Plenty of room for a large group in a nice location. Note that the lake at the property is not conducive to swimming and suggest bringing your own watercraft. We were looking for down time, so it worked for us. Communication with property manager was below average, with very last minute communications.

I did not feel the description online matched what was the actual set up of the house. It appeared that the bonus room was attached to everything else when in reality it was not. The water in the shower barely got hot. Communication with owner was excellent.

Fun at the Dunes

This property was so much more than we expected. The inside was immaculate and quite cozy! We were visiting the area for the opening weekend of the Silver Lake Dunes. Overall a fantastic place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
