Good communication
It was a nice and pretty spacious place for 3 people. Had issues with the house, and was in communication with the owner, who tried to work something out. While I appreciated the effort, the solution he offered did not meet my needs. The owner was very accommodating and understanding. I was able to receive a partial refund, agreed upon with the owner, however, the VRBO system and customer service made things complicated. I had more issues with the VRBO customer service than the issue itself because the communication via chat kept disconnecting, it took me a long time to talk to someone about receiving my refund and its appropriate amount. They kept switching staff and sometimes making it difficult to follow certain emails because it would appear as scams. I was finally able to get things resolved and the owner was still in communication when I was asking for clarification on his end, even after the booking reservation was considered closed.
