It was what I needed, the owners were quick to respond. Would definitely stay again. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short, because of weather. Great little house, great communication from the owners.

Great get away.

This was our third time at this property. It has always been very clean neat and tidy. All of the necessary amenities were provided. Extra perk of being able to watch deer right in the yard.

Very close to lake nice property

Host very thoughtful in leaving shampoo, diah soap, laundry detergent. Nice cottage- you can see the lake from the porch. Lots of deer watching opportunities. There is a campground being constructed across the street but not noisy while we were there. Not sure if cats usually live/stay in the house, there was a bowl of cat food outside, and something was triggering allergies for me inside the living room.

Cozy Cottage

The cottage was perfect for our stay in Anderson. Extremely clean with linens and towels provided. Location was 11 minutes away from the event we came to town for. Best of all was the reasonable price we paid!

Great Little Getaway

We had a great stay! The house was clean, inviting, and comfortable. Actually saw 6 dear near the house, and we enjoyed a short walk to Lake Hartwell. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were hospitable, accommodating, and easy to communicate with.

Clemson Softball

Great space as listed Daughters college team played at the university of Clemson on Friday night for softball and with Clemson Football having a home game plus displacement from Helene causing hotels to be booked we shifted to Vrbo and found this great space. Clean , quiet and as described. Stayed over a second night and caught the Clemson / Virginia football game on Saturday. 25 min from the university with easy back roads to parking /shuttle Plan on coming back to fish Hartwell as this is the perfect spot for a fishing weekend. Boat parking , close to the ramp. WiFi and tv on point , 15yo didn't go through withdrawal and plenty of local spots on the lake to grab a meal. Owners very responsive and courteous, Zero complaints a

Little gem!!

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint, rustic and cozy cottage. If you want 5 star hotel accommodations go stay at a hotel. If you want 5 star attention in a quaint and rustic setting then this is your place. It was so clean and had anything that we needed. We were in for a quick weekend college visit. My husband would love to come back for a guys fishing weekend. It was in a perfect location to the water, to towns, tons of great food in the area as well! We also loved the visits from the deer. Thank you guys so much!

Clean and Great Location, Not So Good for the Physically Impaired.

Pros: The Green Pond Cottage is a winner for fishing or pleasure boating vacationers. It is located very close to Green Pond Landing on Lake Hartwell, and comes with a large carport for you to store your boat. It is a small older house that has been nicely refurbished and is very clean, and is stocked with anything you could possibly need or might have left at home. It is located in a peaceful quiet neighborhood. However, there are some cons to the rental. The stairs leading up to the deck are steep and difficult for a physically impaired person due to the lack of a handrail. Actually, there is a handrail but nearby shrubs have grown over it, making it difficult to use. Please trim back those bushes or install a different handrail on the left side of the steps for safety. I don’t use a walker or even a cane, but going up those steep steps is difficult. Coming down is actually scary. The step leading from the deck to the house itself is actually much higher than a normal step, and I found myself contemplating crawling in on my knees! Aside from that, there are almost no open receptacles in the old house in which to plug electronics such as laptops, phones, tablets, etc. You would be best to bring along some power bricks. If you don’t have any difficulties with steep stairs and can deal with not so many electrical outlets, you will probably love this little cottage.

Extremely nice, true ocean beachy vibes. Great location, within minutes of everything. We are already planning our next visit for September. Loved everything, my husband enjoyed the fishing although he didn't catch anything 😂. We got there an hour earlier and we were allowed to check in which was very kind and accommodating. 10 out of 10 all the way around!!!!

National Highschool Bass Tournament

Perfect location for anglers. Very close to launch, fuel and food. Covered parking for the boat was fantastic while trying lines and setting up for the next day. Was a great stay.
