Fabulous location to Mesa Verde

My sister and I stayed at the Bird's Nest in late Sept. 2024. It was fabulous. Very quiet and comfortable. We loved the deck for watching the sunrise/sunset with a glass of wine. Very quiet. The kitchen was so well stocked. The location couldn't have been better for visiting Mesa Verde. Jeff and his wife were wonderful hosts - answered questions quickly and were available for restaurant recommendations :)

Wonderful home stay

The Birds Nest was the perfect spot in Cedar Mesa, conveniently located across from the national park entrance. The home is very clean, wonderful view, well stocked kitchen and linens. We hope to go back another time to explore more of the area. Wonderful hosts!! Laurie

Peaceful. Home away from home.

Jeff and Renee are great to work with. We did not get to visit much because we kept ourselves busy with parents sight-seeing and enjoying the beauty of this part of the state. The vrbo was clean, spacious, and had an incredible view from back patio. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the Mesa Verde National Park area.

Beautiful location

Stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. Very detailed directions were emailed and we found the house easily. Very friendly owner lives next door and were great. Very close to Mesa Verde and the towns of Cortez and Muncos as well as Four Corners. Durango isn't too far and i highly recommend the train ride to Silverton. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again

Beautiful property inside and out. very kind and welcoming hosts. I did not receive the email with instructions upon arrival but don’t believe that was the fault of host and hostess. Had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Great location, great views!

The owner Jeff was a great host. The apartment had a wonderful view of thee mountains and surrounding hills. The apartment was clean and spacious. Most importantly, the location was about 5 minutes from the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park.

Very comfortable stay

We went out to mountain bike and visit Mesa Verde NP. The property was comfortable and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Love the dual shower heads as well. The views were amazing from the back porch. Working the tv and receiver took some time to figure out but got it going, comfortable sectional as well. Overall a very nice stay and close to nearby attractions and towns.

The property was near to Mesa Verde and many other sites which we visited. It was so nice to be able to stretch out and relax in this 2 bedroom apartment. Beautiful views. The hosts welcomed us upon arrival and were easy to reach. Great communications.

Cozy and safe

Loved the condo. Quiet, safe, cozy, close to Mesa Verde, star gazing, comfortable beds, deck with bbq and everything else you could need. Host checked to make sure we had all we need - perfect!!

Great location for Mesa Verde visit

We stayed with our family of 6, and loved how close and easy it is to enter Mesa Verde NP from the house. Just a quick 6 minute drive. The house was clean, had basics supplied in the kitchen, and all the towels and linens needed. As for sleeping, the two beds were very comfortable, but our other 2 kids slept on the couch. Couch was big enough for children, and they can sleep anywhere so it worked great for us. Would recommend for families of 4 who want to see the National Park. And Jeff was so friendly, and amazing at providing recommendations. and

Marvelous Mancos + Mesa Verde

Ideal location for seeing Mesa Verde -- I don't think you can get any closer, unless you're staying in the park! Mark and Anita were so welcoming and friendly, and provided a number of recommendations about places to check out in the surrounding area in addition to the park. After exploring each day, it was a treat to get back to this relaxing, well-kept and spacious apartment where we could sit on the porch and watch the stars come out. Ahh... Thank you for a memorable visit to a such a special part of Colorado!

2nd Time Staying Here

We are mountain bikers and love riding in this area. This house is perfect to explore Phil's World and Boggy Draw. We also drove up to Mesa Verde. Beautiful property to explore the area. Jeff and Renee were very helpful and accommodating. We will be back!

Beautiful home in the perfect location

My family and I enjoyed a lovely stay here while visiting Mesa Verde. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the proximity to the park can't be beat. Highly recommend it!

Durango Weekend Getaway

This place was perfect for me and my family to stay for a weekend getaway to Durango. Very close to Phil's world for some mountain biking and even closer to Mesa Verde National Park.
