The Sonoma property offered us a beautiful accommodation. We have enjoyed the comfortable beds with the deluxe bedding. We slept so well! Local wine welcomed us at the kitchen counter. The property is centrally located and the architecture is craftsmen style. Very lovely. The property managers are responsive to every text. We hope to return next year. Thank you for a pleasant visit!

Would definitely stay here again!

My husband, myself and another couple stayed in this lovely home for a wedding in the area. It was just as reviewed and advertised! Close walk to shops, coffee, cafe, and a really well known and popular brewery. Everything was clean and well cared for! Host communicates well!

Sunny on Second Street

We rented this property for 4 nights to attend a series of wedding events in Santa Rosa. It is a great location and very walkable to the very quaint downtown. The house was immaculate beautifully decorated. Comfortable bedding throughout all the bedrooms. Lots of windows for daylight and a cute outdoor seating area in front. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We hope to stay again!

Large space and great location

The space is a beautiful renovated 1930’s duplex. The living space is spacious. The two main bedrooms are spacious and the bathroom and kitchen are well accommodated with supplies. The third “bedroom” is actually a converted porch. It does not have a closet. If you try to use the trundle bed, it blocks the door to the room and it can not be opened or closed. The host was very responsive to other requests.

Very sketchy location

The house was great - spacious, very comfy beds, plenty of fluffy towels. The kitchen could use more than four teaspoons and the pans were at the end of their lives, but we managed okay. Lots of glassware, and the owner left a nice bottle of wine to greet us. The parking behind the house was very convenient as well since the street parking was limited to two hours at a time. However, the online description talked about a cute coffee shop and downtown area. Nope. One coffee shop, and the area was quite downtrodden. Lots of homeless people wandering about. But the biggest issue was the fact that immediately next door to the house was an HIV clinic with a vending machine in the parking lot that gave out free syringes, condoms, fentynal test strips, etc. So at any given time there would be addicts milling about waiting for the machine to be refilled with the above products. Certainly not a safe environment for four women to be adjacent to. That was a very unpleasant surprise. But, how were we to know?!

Judy, thank you for acknowledging a few of the many great features of this darling place. I was quite alarmed by this review, especially since 99% of our reviews are 5 stars. We have been hosting through another site for two years and our average rating is 4.97. We host girls groups and families all the time and have never had any issues. Like any city in the US there are homeless, especially since we are downtown. There are three wonderful coffee shops within half a mile from the house. Five doors down is a beautiful Italian restaurant and two blocks away about a dozen popular restaurants, pubs and bars. I’m sorry you did not discover any of these. I did inspect the property yesterday and found actually there are 7 teaspoons and about 20 tablespoons and soup spoons. One frying pan was brand new, and I added 2 more high quality brand new pans. The one that was scratched I disposed of. Your review was unkind and full of inaccuracies. It will not affect me since I manage many successful vacation rentals. But it will likely affect the owners, who spend their time doing volunteer work and are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. I hope on your next vacation you can count friends and glasses of wine instead of teaspoons.

Exactly like the pictures show, communication with the owners is fantastic, they will make sure you have a good experience, location very quiet within walking distance to downtown.
