By far our favorite Vrbo find yet. The setting is so peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed all the amazing details and amenities here. We will be back!

The host, Megan really put in a lot of thought to the details in these domes, it felt so magical and I loved being in the forest with my husband. We shared a quiet peaceful night. The bath was wonderful and it’s a great place to unplug. She also was so sweet and brought us up some bug spray. I’m definitely gonna stay here again.

This place was awesome we absolutely LOVED it.

The outside bathtub was amazing the view off of the deck was absolutely stunning and the loft bed was literally everything we loved the fit pit we used it throughout our whole stay

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Yes it is a little bit of a treck to get to, but it's so worth it to be so isolated and far back in the woods. It felt totally private and secluded which is exactly what we wanted. Megan, the host, really thought of everything! From the outdoor bath to kitchen setup you really have everything you need for your stay. She even provides some really fun extras like a Polaroid camera, a star projector, board games, puzzles, a record player, literally everything we needed. There was also some.pretty big storms while we where there and it was so cool to get to watch the lightning from the dome! We can't wait to plan our next trip back!

Beautiful place! Loved every minute of being there. Host was kind, 10/10 communication. Clean everything and just really well thought out. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this stay. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you :)

Exceeded expectations, wonderfully furnished, amazing environment and relaxing amenities.

The Cacoon was packed with amenities that were helpfully labeled with instructions. The Cacoon is set in an amazing setting full of nature and very quiet. The tub on the deck was a lot of fun and very relaxing! The dome is furnished with care and even the detached bathroom is well decorated, clean, and high quality!

The perfect traveling stop!

The domes have the perfect setup and activity options! I would have loved to have had some more time there…as it was, it was my first stop of a pretty extensive time traveling. I’m so glad I chose Rooted Dome because it was true break, not just an overnight stop!

An amazing experience all around!

The dome is absolutely beautiful and we had a great time. Every detail was taken care of and the hosts were very responsive for every question we had. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

Wow!! There are no words to describe just how amazing the experience was and how beautiful the place is. Pure magic!!!!! It’s even better in person. Not only is the igloo unique and fun to stay in but the decor and ammenties were on point. The tub was the icing on the cake!!! Not only are you surrounded by nature and all of its healing vibrations but Megan was such a perfect host. 20/10!! Super grateful for the availability of E-bikes as well. If you’re not taking advantage of those while you’re out in nature you’re missing out!!! It was hours of endless paths and beautiful sight seeing. Thank you Megan!!

The most relaxing, peaceful, and recharging trip we have been on!

We stayed in the Cocoon and it was more than we could have expected. There was no detail they didnt of. It was spotless and welcoming. So cozy and peaceful! We will 100% be back. We have been having about it to all our friends to go stay! The bathroom was also amazing and so clean! We felt right at home and were able to disconnect from the world and relax.

What an incredible weekend stay! My wife and I came here for an anniversary getaway, and it was exactly what we wanted and needed. The property is gorgeous, and the room was neat, clean, and packed full of amenities.Pros: beautiful views, clean room, fantastic amenities One mild con: the room was not quite as private as we had hoped. It was closer to the other dome than we initially anticipated, and windows do not have curtains to cover in some places.Neutral but worth considering as you plan your stay: the listing is clear that there is a bit of a walk to the room and that the bathroom is in a facility that is a short walk away. People with mobility issues may find this a challenge, and bathroom visits in the middle of the night are a bit of an adventure The entire setup is incredibly well thought out and planned, and it is clear that the host genuinely wants all guests to have a magical stay. We highly recommend The Cocoon to travelers!
