Clean, charming, good location, adequate parking for two cars, well equipped kitchen, large dining table good for 6 to 8 people, excellent communication with hostess.

Kitchen was fully equipped with lots of coffee, tea, spice options and cooking oil, and of course, pots, pans, etc...House was clean, convenient location (close to Bart station). Comfortable stay for our family of 7 adults.

The house is really well equipped. The available parking space was nice to have. Was a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to good restaurants, grocery stores and the hospital.

Family Visit

Easy location to get everywhere. In town to visit family for the holiday. The house was everything we needed for our visit. Hosts were super quick to respond to any issue we had.

Berkeley Graduation Weekend

We brought the entire family (8 people, ages 3-57) for a long weekend in Berkeley for our son’s graduation. The house was lovely and in a great location.

The place was exactly as described and had a beautiful yard. It did get a little warm during our stay, but there were plenty of fans! The host was very quick to respond when we had something come up and needed to know where something was!! The beds and other furniture were very comfortable and the beauty supplies that were there were very nice. Everyone that stayed had an amazing time and the host was really nice in messages! Overall, a fantastic stay!

Great rental

Awesome place, lots of space with 4 bedrooms with queen beds, nice decor, and a nice kitchen. We felt safe in the neighborhood. The laundry machines and dishwasher were very convenient. The place looked exactly like the pictures and was quite clean.

Family stay for a wedding

This was a great location. Was easy to make breakfast in the kitchen. The house was well equipped. It cooled down at night and each room has a fan. Good value for the cost of the rental.

Nice home, but…

The home was nicely curated. That said, if you want to be close to the Kaiser Permanente Hospital nearby, then it is a good location. Otherwise, the neighborhood is not one for a family stay.

Hi Mark, I'm glad you found the house pleasant! It seems like this review may be based on the neighborhood as opposed to the home. We did not receive any messages about issues with either the home or neighborhood during your stay, and have not had issues with other guests calling it a non-family oriented location over our 4 years of short term rentals. I hope no issues came up during your stay and you we're happy with the things that we as hosts are in control of.

Charming is EXACTLY the word!

Lovely four bedroom two bath cottage in a great neighborhood… GREAT backyard! Beds are incredibly comfy, kitchen is well outfitteD. We were 5 adults, LR might be tight for more people. There is no AC, and we had a brief hot spell, but there are ceiling fans, and stand-up fans, so only 1 or 2 days were a bit warm. Owner was a joy to deal with, lots of helpful hints and very flexible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Nice house, very well stocked with everyday supplies. Only negative was it that the house was in a bit of a shady neighborhood with homeless encampments right around the corner but maybe that’s on us for not doing more research. The street we were staying on was quiet and no issues during our stay. The host was also very attentive and responsive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
