10/10 Excellent!The house and all the amenities were excellent! I grew up in Kekaha and came back for a family reunion and found this place to be perfect for my family. For those that have never been, Kekaha can get hot so having an ac in every room was great, especially after being at the beach all day. The outdoor bbq was also perfect for for all the grilling. The outdoor yard is spacious and lots of grass area for kids to play in the yard.Mahalo to Chad and Liz for being great hosts! They were very fast and attentive with the whole process from check in to check out and even let me extend my stay on short notice!If you are looking for a place to stay on the west side of Kauaʻi look no further. Kekaha is a small quiet local plantation town and it is a place to stay when you want a real true Kauaʻi experience. While some visitors may feel out of place the people are second to know. If you say hi, are respectful to the ‘aina (land) and want to learn of the culture they will treat you like family. Mahalo nui loa to Chad and Liz! Will definitely stay here again!

Our host, Liz M., was super responsive with clear instructions. The house was just as pictured -- okay, even cuter in person! AC in the bedrooms was super as we were here during a hot spell. Outdoor shower was great!

Relaxing

Great place on the west coast. Clean and well stocked. Close to Waimea and Waimea canyon. Close to beaches. Would stay here again.

The house is a very comfortable place to stay. It is very clean. Beds are very cozy. It did get a little warm at times without air conditioning.

This is a home I would love to live in! Well furnished and supplied from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the beds, everything was functional, comfortable, and tasteful. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cookall our meals here. We especially appreciated the beach supplies from towels to folding chairs to umbrellas and boogie boards. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

That’s why a gave an excellent review. Nothing has changed in all the years when I came back. Always had a great time. And if there was a problem the owner immediately attended to it. Maybe it would be nice to have some reall glasses and not just plastic cups

Quiet neighborhood away from the tourist areas

We enjoyed this cozy house away from the busy tourist areas. It is a quiet neighborhood and as described very very close to the beach frequented by the local people; close drive to the canyon and the port.

Fantastic Experience!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. We loved the location, which let us explore the southern end of Kaua'i. The house is a true gem, and we hope to stay here again on our next visit.

Living as local in Kauai

We loved the beach cottage location, appointments, the owners quick response to questions, and the private indoor-outdoor feel of the yard and house. We prefer cooking our own meals and staying away from tourist areas - this was just right.

Lovely, well maintained house

It´s the details - you will love the house a s we did during our stay. Very clean, perfectly equipped, great location, nice garden with a barbecue, even surfboards - we really enjoyed our stay very, very much and would definitively come back for our next visit to Kauai.

Great place to stay, great host as a support ina foreign country

The building has a great lay-out, was perfect for our 2 doughters, 2 sons and ourself. Chad has a personality we appreciate very much!
