Comfy house west of Waimea

Great location with comfortable bed for visiting western beaches and Waimea Canyon. Host was very responsive and friendly. Beautiful backyard lanai for relaxing.

Paradise in Kauai

This house was perfect for our stay. We have a member of our family with celiac disease, so we prepared most of our meals at home. The kitchen was perfectly suited for our meals and the grill was outstanding. The rooms were spacious and the furniture so comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe in our surroundings. We could even walk to the beach if desired. Overall, we loved every minute of our stay!

The property was well stocked with cooking supplies and toiletries. The host was very friendly and available. It was lovely to visit with the family at this location. Very nice location, minimal rain during our stay. Difficult to manage sand from the beach.

Gorgeous house in quiet neighborhood

This was such a beautiful and spacious house and seemed even nicer than the photos. Perfect for a few friends or a family. Debra was very easy to communicate with and super friendly. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location! Great amenities! Short walk to beach!

This beautiful home was perfect for our short trip to Kauai! Friendly neighbor visited us and even gave us a fresh mango off the tree! Short 5-10 minute walk to the beach! Everything was perfect!

We loved our stay in this very clean and wonderful house.

Debra and her husband are very friendly and helpful. They gave us some very delicious mangos from their tree in the garden. The mangos were the best we ever have eaten.

Perfect western shore getaway

We absolutely loved our time here and were able to easily relax! The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly, and gave the best tips for local snorkeling spots! The location is perfect for Waimea Canyon and a long Na Pali cruise. The outdoor grill was perfect for home cooked meals at the end of the day and there were plenty of kitchen tools available. The beds were very comfortable and we would totally stay here again!

Kekaha house

We enjoyed our stay at this Kekaha house. It was in a nice area, the house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The house was only 2 blocks away from the beach and the sunsets were beautiful. Kekaha is only 3 miles from Waimea where you can see and/or hike the Waimea Canyon, have shave ice a Jojos, and enjoy good food at multiple restaurants. I highly recommend staying at this wonderful house.

Classic Kauai house

Very clean house in a quiet neighborhood so you can sleep to sound of waves crashing. Tasty mangoes growing out back. The hosts were amazing

Weekend trip

Great location, friends and I took a girls trip from Oahu to Kauai to do a tour of the Nā pali coast. The location was perfect for us as the area our group met was only 3 minutes from the house! Debra was very welcoming and had the sweetest pup! The neighborhood was quiet and safe! Would definitely be back!

An Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our stay in the house that I was raised in. It was very comfortable. I was surprised with the availability of all kitchen equipment and cooking supplies that were provided. We grilled chicken and vegetables and it worked out great.

A very beautiful house in a very quiet and well-kept area

We enjoyed our stay in this house. The owners live next door and have an open ear for problems and questions. There is a beach a few meters walk away. The only thing missing for us was a table and chairs on the lanai.

Great place and great host

Debra has made a very comfortable, attractive place to stay. We had a great time and were able to easily relax and have a "vacation at home" kind of experience. Easy to get to all of the west attractions and much of the south attractions, too. Debra made it easy to enjoy the beaches with her provision of towels, chairs, and a shower specific for coming back from the ocean, so heading near or a little bit far was barely a consideration. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Perfect start

We stayed in 3 places on Kauai to avoid long drives, and this plantation house was a great start. Beautiful sitting area with a fountain and lush planting, great hosts who met our requests. Just 5 minute walk to a sunset beach and close to Waimea Canyon hikes. The house was built with salvaged materials after WWII and has tons of charm. Everything works!

Centrally located to Waimea Canyon

Debra is an excellent hostess, providing everything her guests could want in a clean and safe environment. If you need some beach equipment, she’s got it ready for you. The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are very comfortable. Easily sleeps six. As an added bonus, she’ll let you get all the dog loving you want from her pup! Highly recommend this property.

Quiet Quaint cottage

Very cute older cottage within walking distance to the beach. Lots of fans but only AC in the master bedroom. The hostess Debra is very attentive and was quick to respond to any of our needs. It was the quiet place we were hoping for! The garden in the back yard is beautiful and a great place to drink tea/coffee in the morning.

Kauai vacation Home Away from Home

This was our first trip to Kauai and having this house was great. It was quiet and close proximity to the beach; just a few minute walk. It was a drive to the other side of the island, and most of the sightseeing spots, and it was nice to come home to a quiet, spacious home. The pond/fountain in the back yard, and the trees and flowers, were beautiful and soothing to relax to the sounds and sights. The bikes and swimming/beach items were great to have available and lightened out packing load. It was a home away from home; and the neighbors were nice and friendly.
