Lovely "cabin" house set in amongst the trees. Very peaceful and quiet when we were there. Only complaints we had were the beds being too soft for us, and the 50 or so uphill steps from parking to house with coolers and luggage...(Hillside cabin). Very comfortable home.

It was like our own private oasis in the forest! Had a blast on the lake. The 2 mile trail was great. We had plans to go out and about, but didn’t need to leave the cabin to find the adventures we needed! Would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Location is amazingly quiet...the setting on the lake a view to behold. We found the proximity to Bend a plus for alternative dinner to cooking at cabin. While we did not take advantage of the water craft available, their closeness is a nice additional benefit. The critter warning by the owners about not leaving doors open is obviously chipmunks...they sure are "friendly" little guys. As a quick, short getaway for us, living only a couple hours away, the cabin and surroundings was a nice treat. We found the decor relaxing, the availability of cooking tools handy and sleeping rooms nicely furnished for all weather conditions. Very comfortable place to visit.

Excellent Views, Adorable Cabin!

The Hillside Cabin has excellent views of the lake and could not be more cute. Perfect for two couples or several good friends. The quality of the Cabin itself was exceptional- this is certainly a luxury stay in the Central Oregon wilderness!

Perfect Quiet Weekend Getaway

My husband and I were needing a quiet weekend away from work, kids, grandkids and all the things life throws at you. I stumbled across this place and didn't know what to expect upon arrival because it did look too good to be true when I booked it. I had read some reviews that the lake was not the greatest and that is definitely true. There is a lot of growth and it isn't something I would jump in and swim in. But there were kids swimming in it, having a great time. It was also perfect for the canoes, kayaks and fishing. The lake makes for a beautiful view though and I didn't need to swim, I needed to relax. The cabin was amazing! It was spacious, sparkling clean, and fully stocked with more amenities than expected. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking which is rare in a rental. The deck was private and spacious with beautiful views. Even with no AC, it never got too hot. I imagine this property is even more beautiful in the winter.

Everything was perfect!

We stayed at Tumalo Lake Lodge for our daughter’s wedding last weekend. The lodge and cabins are very comfortable and well-appointed. The property was perfect for our small event. We made several meals for 25 in the lodge and had everything we needed. We had the wedding ceremony lakeside and the bride and groom kicked off their marriage with a paddle on the lake in their wedding finery. It couldn’t have been more special. Tracy and Bill were so responsive and fantastic to work with. We look forward to coming back!

Poetically surreal. Everything was perfect - the cabin, the surroundings, the quiet serenity. We especially loved the sound of the wind in the trees and owl that serenaded us in the wee hours of the night.

Wonderful cabin, felt very secluded, great hiking and biking trails from the front door. Fully equipped kitchen, clean, great hot tub. We hope to come back again someday!

Great place with a beautiful view! Tracy was easy to communicate with. Amenities were very clean and grounds were beautiful. Beds were very cozy and the futon bed was premade which was very helpful. We really loved staying here!

Hillside Cabin was absolutely wonderful

Hillside Cabin was absolutely wonderful. We had all the amenities we needed, and the atmosphere was incredibly cozy. We truly appreciated the design and the thoughtfulness that went into making the space so inviting. Thank you for a fantastic stay! We can't wait to book again.

Peaceful Stay

Had a short, two-day stay that was peaceful and perfect! This property is a bargain for what it offers and it is even better than described in the listing. Would stay again!

This was our favorite cabin stay of our lives. The location is spectacular and private on a gorgeous lake. I began each morning with a kayak ride and a two mile hike around the lake. The host was lovely, beds were dreamy, the hot tub divine, the kitchen well stocked, and the can beautifully well made. The best romantic vacation! We cannot wait to return!

Our stay was fantastic. The cabin is so much nicer than the pictures can’t even express. The cabin was very well built, very nicely decorated, and so comfortable and cozy. All the amenities were there. We loved the fireplace. It was all set up for a fire when we arrived. The Jacuzzi tub was lovely and perfectly clean. The setting was gorgeous, on a beautiful secluded lake with lots of pine trees.

Absolutely beautiful property and super comfy cabin. Very clean and well maintained throughout. The location is perfect for enjoying the outdoors surrounding Bend and town is an easy drive too.

Wonderful Stay

Stayed at the Hillside Cabin for four days with three college buds. The cabin is wonderful. The quality of the cabin and furniture is tip-top and the place is very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, silverware, coffee, spices. Great views of the lake with canoes, kayaks, etc available. Owners were very prompt responding to questions.
