Riverfront Cottage -Near Drake Park, Walk to Town.

One bedroom with queen bed and a really comfortable queen hide-a-bed, right on the Deschutes River. You can walk one way to town (through Drake Park), and the other way also along the river to the Old Mill District.

You can watch the otters, beavers, eagles, osprey, mink, heron, geese, swans and ducks from the riverfront deck. There is another deck with a gas bbq right out the back door.

It is a short drive to Mt. Bachelor for world class skiing as well as the Cascade Lakes with amazing outdoor recreational opportunities.

Hiking, mountain climbing, road biking. You can even ride your mountain bike from your front door, and in only 3 miles be on the famous Phil's Trail, with 100's of miles of uncrowded single track.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! The location was the real highlight—it had a dock right on the river, which made it the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. We spent our days people watching, soaking up the sun, reading a book, and enjoying a cocktail by the water. It was such a peaceful and relaxing getaway, and we’d happily stay here again!

The house was very clean. The host was wonderful. It was ready as soon as we got there. He was helpful finding parking for us and was very responsive with any of our questions. Highly recommend this location!

Fabulous location. John is a great host. Cottage is older but cute and clean with some updates on interior. Exterior is a bit more rundown and the deck could use some love, but over-all this was a great place to stay with great river view and convenient walking distance to the downtown Bend area as well as the Old Mill! The only thing we felt was missing was a propane fire pit on the deck for the cool nights! We loved that our trusty road companion canine could enjoy the stay with us! Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay at this property! Cute little space that's well stocked and comfortable, and different lounging options for the deck on the river. A couple block walk from Drake Park and downtown isn't much further from there.

Such a delightful home on the river. the kayaks were so much fun and the deck was so relaxing. John as a host was so available and facilitated an earlier check in when we needed it and he responded quickly when we reached out as well. Would definitely rent from John again and this property is on our favorite list for sure.

I can’t imagine a better location! So peaceful to sit at the river’s edge and so convenient to everything. We enjoyed grilling dinner and kayaking, too.

Fantastic little place to stay and enjoy the river! Got to enjoy geese, ducks, and an otter from the dock. Our pup loved hanging out outside in the fully fenced backyard, too. Morning kayak rides were the best!We will definitely be back next time we come to Bend!

This little cottage had everything we needed (2 people and a small dog). The cottage is centrally located between drake park downtown in one direction and the deschutes river trail old mill in the other direction. In short, perfectly located with a short walk to explore Bend. We loved exploring Bend by foot by day and hanging out in the backyard in the evenings. We did cook quite a few of our meals ; the kitchen was well stocked. Overall, fantastic stay at this sweet Bend cottage.

Great property! We loved our stay here, it was my husband, pup and 9 month old son and we had a blast. The place is in a great location with a beautiful backyard to swim in the river or relax on the deck.

This was perfect for us! Sweet little place in an excellent location! Everything we needed plus chairs to relax in right next to the river. Bed was really comfortable and kitchen seemed well-stocked.

I am a semi-retired real estate investor who fell in love with Bend and can't find any place I would rather live. There is so much to do here if you like the outdoors, but the community feel is what really makes it special.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This was my vacation home in Bend before I decided I had to live here permanently. There are not many homes on the river in Bend, which makes it quite special. You can walk through Drake Park along Mirror Pond to downtown Bend in about ten minutes, and the other direction is the Old Mill District. I love this location and neighborhood so much that when I wanted a bigger home, I moved next door. It is rare to find a place that is so close to everything and because of the river still seems a bit wild.
