Incredible house that comfortably sleeps so many! Modern furnishings with a camp feel. We spent a lot of time on the porch outside over looking the lake. Great dock - was able to launch in Windham with ease.

Wonderful house on Little Sebago Lake

Our extended family of nine adults had an absolutely wonderful weeklong stay at The Lodge. The home has everything you need - a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, kayaks, and a beautiful outdoor fireplace. We will certainly plan a return visit.

Fun week for all. House was spacious and we appreciated the 4 bathrooms. The docks were perfect for the boat and swimming. We definitely took advantage of the screened-in porch and fireplace.

Lake Weekend

The house is beautiful, fully equipped, and John is a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend for a large group.

Awesome house.

This house is exceptional in every way. The dock, the kayaks, the screened patio, the comfort of each room, the baths, the common areas, and everything else is just first-rate. I hope we can visit again. I strongly recommend this place.

Fantastic Lake House

The lakehouse was absolutely beautiful. Everything was spotless. We had a couple questions that were answered quickly. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent here again.

Pictures don’t do this property justice! It was far more beautiful, than expected, inside and out. We were concerned about no ac but the house stayed comfortable day and night. The owners were responsive to our questions and always very helpful.

Great stay, great host

Had a wonderful time (despite some crummy weather in the first weekend of May) at this beautiful cabin. Perfect set up for a guys weekend as all of the beds can be split up into twins. Outdoor covered porch with a fireplace was a great escape from the rain, and large common area enabled everyone to hang out. Thanks to John for helping us set up!

Fantastic week on LSL

We had a wonderful week and the house was absolutely gorgeous and hosts were very friendly and responsive. We cooked most meals and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and swimming in the lake. We would definitely love to return for another week.

The whole family (infants to grandparents) loved the week long family reunion we spent here. Paddling, swimming, biking, apple picking. I personally love the work they put into making the house quiet - there's an enormous thick door separating the great room from the bedrooms, and the hardwood flooring doesn't make noise. The great room is beautiful and great for hanging out. Honestly the main downside with this listing is the pictures not doing the place justice

Wonderful Place for quality family time!!!

What a wonderful home! Every detail was thought of for this vacation spot. We had a wonderful family get together for the holidays. We had 9 adults and 4 children ages 5 months to 10 years stay here and it was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for all of us. I love that there is no TV! We played board games, listened to music and even ventured out in the cold to make a fire and enjoy some S'mores! Our family had a fantastic time, and we are looking forward to another visit, hopefully not in the too distant future.

Fantastic 7 days in a most accommodating home

A wonderful week of vacation for 3 family units!! 6 sunny days and 1 rainy day to enjoy LL Bean! Fantastic 7 days in a most accommodating home and environment! It was so nice to not have to leave the property, but to enjoy swimming, kayaking, ladderball, and basketball right here! It was very suitable for 6 adults and 6 kids - great memories of Little Sebago Lake! None of us had been here before. Another in a series of wonderful extended family vacations!. Blessings! More than we could imagine!

We left with two questions: Why can’r we stay longer, and Why don’t the pictures do this marvelous home justice. Answer to first question: others should have the opportunity to have this wonderful experience. Answer to second question: some places are so spectacular that no photo can capture it. Amazing home right on Little Lake Sebago!

Wow! What a home! Thank you for such great memories with our family! We hiked, skated on the ice, played shuffleboard and curling! played hockey & enjoyed the frozen lake immensely! The house is spectacular in every way. Spending New Years Eve was awesome. We have beautiful pictures of one of the most amazing sunsets we have ever seen! Thank you so much - even the wifi glitch didn't dampen our spirits! Happy New Year!

Fantastic home for winter stay

This was our second time staying in the home and we loved it! We have a large family and this home can accommodate us and give us all the space we need. We loved the open living room and kitchen concept and really loved the fact that there’s no TV. The lake froze so we were able to skate and ice fish! The property manager was extremely attentive and even ran coffee filters over when she found out there were none left. The home is spotless and feels new even though I’m sure it’s not. Would love to continue coming back!

Excellent Stay!

The property was perfect for our needs. Several generations of family. Very clean. Owner has thought of EVERYTHING! Loved all the hooks to hang clothes and towels. Beds were very comfortable. Beautiful home with a great view of the lake. Spent every evening on the porch with a fire in the fireplace. The retractable screens are genius! Kept all the bugs out at night. House in very safe and friendly location. Owner was extremely responsive. Highly recommend...you can’t go wrong with this place!

Spectacular property! Best spot on Little Sebago!

Our family had an amazing stay at this spectacular property. The home was beyond our expectations! The large kitchen and great room provided the perfect place for our large group to eat and relax and the outside patio (with optional screens and gorgeous fireplace) was the picture perfect setting for all of our family dinners. Hospitality was evident in all the wonderful extra amenities. We all loved the kayaks and used them daily to head out to the very cool island with beach directly across the way. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We can't wait to come back! ps. Thanks to Joe for the wonderful gelato!

Perfect house and setting!

The Lodge was well designed, spacious and everything we needed was available. There was amazing attention to detail everywhere you looked. We loved the crystal clear lake, sandy beach, dock, float and deck. Perfect place to swim, relax and kayak around Spider island just off shore. Kids and grand kids enjoyed every day! Our family vote for the best of the best was the screened in patio. The screens were raised in the daytime for easy access and lowered in the evening for a bug free outdoor space (with a fireplace) to play games into the night. The mornings were spectacular! Peaceful, quiet, wonderful views with loons and ducklings passing by. Our thanks to John and family for providing a perfect setting for our Maine vacation! We'll be back!

Perfect place for a week with the whole Family!

What an amazing place! The Lodge is the perfect destination for a large group to spend quality time. The owners certainly thought of everything when they built this home. The versatility of the bedrooms, numerous bathrooms and the common area on the main floor allowed for plenty of space for all. The kids (and adults too!) spent each day out on the water, buzzing around on the kayaks, diving from the rafts, fishing and playing on the island. The outside porch was our favorite gathering spot, where we enjoyed our evenings hanging out by the fire and watching beautiful sunsets. We all want to add a room like this onto our homes! The Lyons & Bridges families had a fabulous week reconnecting at the Lodge! The kids are already asking when they can go back!

We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at "The Lodge." You mentioned several of the things our family loves best about it. On a sad note, this may be the last summer for "playing on the island", which is something the public has been allowed to do since at least the mid-90s when we first came to Little Sebago. We hear that this tiny island was sold earlier this year and rumor has it that the new owners plan to not allow people to play on its beach next year. I just wanted to mention it to avoid any unmet expectations by future renters...but everything else you mentioned should still be fun! Thanks again for the great review.

50th Wedding Anniversary at the lake

We had the most wonderful time at your beautiful lodge. I hope that we will be able to visit again in the future. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful home and a place for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. It was fabulous. We did a renewal service on the grassy area with the magic view from the porch. The lake and the lodge provided everything we needed. Cathy‘s lobster bake provided the Clam Bake, Our grandchildren created memories that will be with them the rest of their lives. If anyone has questions about catching fish in the lake, please know that we were able to have a delicious dinner from the fish caught. Our week at the lodge was AMAZING. Thank You! This place has it all!

We've been renting through vrbo for about ten years, and we've ended up in some very nice houses, but this place has raised the bar for excellence! The house is in a great location with a lovely shorefront. It is well maintained and well equipped. We really needed to bring nothing except the towels we were told to bring. The beds are comfortable, and the flexible bedroom set up for the downstairs rooms is clever. The great room is perfect for a large group. It is nicely decorated, but not filled with 'stuff' that gets in the way or makes you worry about breaking something. The owner is very responsive and pleasant to deal with. We rented this house because a niece was getting married nearby. It was a lovely wedding, but the highlight for our (large) family was spending time together at the house and by the lake. We've already made plans to return.

Amazing spot for families

We were renting the property to celebrate a 40th and 80th birthday. This house is absolutely perfect for large families with multiple kids. It's really been expertly designed to accommodate families. I have two sisters and we each have kids ranging in age from 3 to 21 and everyone was comfortable and happy with the space. My parents were able to stay on the main level so they never had to take stairs and a large open room is behind a heavy soundproof door which allowed for my parents to get a little extra sleep when the little ones were up and about. We enjoyed cooking together in the big open space, large family style, meals, and kayaking and swimming despite the somewhat chilly October air. We loved hearing loons early in the morning and in the evening. Maybe due to the time of year, we felt we really had the lake to ourselves. It was an absolutely magical weekend and we are so grateful to have found this spot. Cannot recommend it highly enough for families!
