Not quite ready to be listed.

The location was great for us, the house is very spacious, and the host was very responsive. However, there were a few issues that prevented a top rating. The main concern was that the air conditioning did not work. Inside temperatures ranged from 78-83 at night. Ceiling fans helped a little. We changed the filter as recommended but no improvement. Many remodeling projects are in progress, with tools and materials left out. One bedroom did not have any window coverings. The curtains and rods were in the room but had not been installed. The washer drain hose was not secured and water covered the floor when it drained. (We cleaned up the water and put the hose back in the drain.) One safety issue for families with children was a bottle of prescription medicine left in a bedroom drawer. The master bathroom is missing a wall mirror but does have a door mirror. This older home will be a great rental once the remodeling projects are finished and the air conditioning is working. It has 2 large common areas great for lounging and visiting with friends, and the fenced back yard is huge.

Great local, but a little hot

Came down for a 4 day baseball tourny at Sand Mountain. Perfect location. Only 14 minutes away. A ton of space. 3 BDR - sleeps 2 each, plenty of room for air mattresses, if youre traveling with more. House is definitely dated, but priced accurately. Only complaint, was couldnt keep the house cool. Stayed around 76-78 the entire stay. But every room has fans, so thats positive. Would stay here again, but not during the "hotest" months. Lots of space here

Enjoyable Vacation

A friend and I spent 8 nights in Guntersville at Nick’s place! His house is Large and very spacious! Great for large, small or anyone looking for a Vacation in this area! It is centrally located in an established quiet neighborhood! It’s convenient to grocery stores, eating places and Guntersville Lake! Kitchen stocked with plenty of cooking supplies! Nick is a Great Host! Will stay again! Thanks Nick for sharing your home!
