TROUT Steps to beach. Lovely two bedroom with screened porch and pool.

This is a very nice downstairs cottage facing the beach. Great screened porch facing the water. Walk across the beach access path just twenty yards from the driveway to fish or sunbathe at the prettiest beaches in the state! Rinse off in our pool just outside. Perfect for one or two couples or a small family. Pets welcome.

Trout is certainly a bargain and a favorite of many couples who return again and again. Recently remodeled and updated (photos Feb 2026). Beach access. Lovely two bedroom w/ screened porch and pool. Beach wagon, canopy sun-shade and folding beach chairs on site for guest use. High-speed internet. Pool is shared two other units on the property: "Redfish" and "Pompano."

Great place and very close to beach, literally across the street. Pool is shared with the two other units on site but still private enough. Place was exactly as described and we would love to stay again.

The property is directly across the street from the beach. Beach entry access is available near both the right and left sides of the driveway, across the street, a short distance (about 10-15 yards from the end of the driveway). Most guests like our property because of the ease of access to the beach. To get closer to the beach on this island, one must rent a beachfront/beach-side-of-road property.

Very Nice Stay

Loved staying at Trout and the unit was as advertised. Easy walk across the street to the beach and we appreciated being able to have our dogs with us. Comfy stay and good value.

Great place!

Close access to the beach and the kid loved the pool. Everyone was happy with location and accommodations. Friends that stopped by thought it was great as well.

Perfect location

The trout is perfect for a couple and/or small family. Have been staying there for about 12 yrs and never disappoints. Brandon was very easy to deal with.

Great stay. Host was attentive to pre questions and questions during stay. Overall everything advertised was as it said. Good location, easy access to the beach.The pool was really terrific and was sparkling clean. Did not realize it had 2 other apartments, but enough privacy to make it ok.I would recommend it and might rent again.
