This was such a beautiful house, and the host Lori was the best. From the wonderful extras like snacks, drinks in the fridge and games and toys for the kids, to her attentiveness and kindness, the entire stay was amazing.

Truly the nicest and most well appointed VRBO I have ever stayed in. The host was gracious, easy to communicate with. The house had every comfort from a well appointed kitchen to cleanliness to comfortable beds and bathrooms. The epitome of gracious hospitality!We had a wonderful time. As a bonus, there is so much to do in the area! Great location!

Better than the pictures! We just stayed 2 nights, but would definitely stay again if we were ever in the area. Clean and convenient, plus all the extras you could need. Very impressed.

Al and his group were by far one of our best guests. They were respectful, good communication, and left the house super clean. We really hope they stay with us again. Highly Recommend!

My family of 6 (4 kids) had the best time at this house! This is probably the best VRBO we’ve stayed at… it was totally stocked with everything we needed and things we didn’t know we needed. We enjoyed our time in the lovely outdoor area. Thank you! 10/10

Such a warm and friendly welcome when we arrived. All the little extras through the property were amazing. There really was something for everyone and we also really appreciated the recommendations for things to do in the local area. With four young adults with us ages 14-21, the provided snacks, drinks, games cupboard and hot tub went down a treat. Thank you for making our stay feel like a home away from home. Truly one of the best places we have stopped in our travels!

Our end of summer vacation was absolutely phenomenal. The house was amazing! Set up was great! Had all the extras you would need. Mrs Lori was easy to get ahold of and was a great host! Would definitely come back to stay here again!

Family getaway

We travelled down to visit family that live close by. The house was perfect. I’ve never stayed at a house that was so fully stocked. We loved the outdoor area! The house was very clean and my daughter loved the towel animals on the beds!

Well appointed

This owner provided an outstanding experience. We were met with a welcome basket which was totally unexpected. I would recommend this property for any family traveling in the area.

Everything you could possibly need

Clean, lovely home with everything you could need. Lori and her husband have this home stocked with every amenity you could want. The house is located in a more rural area that reminds you of a sleepy fishing village. Just a short drive to restaurants and attractions

Homossassa Famiky trip

From the check in to the check out this place was awesome. The place was very clean and had alot of amenities you wouldn't expect. We all wished we could stay longer. The outside deck/ grilling area was great. The beds were comfortable. This is definitely a 5 star property. The host was great with communication. Loved the book with house info area and dining info. We used that quite a bit. Overall 5 star rating for everything. We will definitely consider staying here again when returning to this area.

Perfect!

My fiance and I plus our best friend spent the weekend here to swim with the manatees! It’s the end of the season so not too many right now but the property was perfect! They pay so much attention to detail, so easy to get anywhere you need to go/ right in the middle of everything. We spent most of our time in the backyard hanging out and then settled into our large rooms and warm showers! Host was very communicative the entire time. Perfect stay

We loved this place for our home base this trip. Our host was so attentive and helpful via messenger but even more so attentive to detail in the house! The towel sculptures on the bed felt special like how you feel walking into your room on a cruise. Chocolates on arrival were a sweet surprise. There was a basket of snacks, a fully stocked fridge and fully stocked everything! Toys for our little one and smart plugs for all our devices. The sun porch and deck were so relaxing and well equipped and we enjoyed them very much too! Neighborhood was quiet and clean. Overall the house was SUPER! We visited the beach suggested by the host and had supper at The water front Social also Lori’s suggestion and it was wonderful! Saturday we went to Weeki Wachee Slrings which was about 30 minutes away, then Homosassa Springs animal refuge about 10 minutes away. Our final day we visited Crystal River and it was the best and only 10 minutes away so I suggest just staying close to your home base and enjoying what’s there! The tour guide company we found was paddle fin adventures and they were wonderful!

Wonderful Experience

Our stay was wonderful! From the time we walked through the door until we checked out Lori and Gordon were amazing! Lori responded to texts quickly even during Hurricane Debby which the property was no affected at all! There were minimal decorations which worked out very well with the young children and much appreciated by me as their mom! Great snacks and drinks provided along with coffee and tea! The house was super clean and comfortable! The outside pavilion was a very cool area too! 5 stars for sure and when we go back to the area, we will stay here...as long as it's not booked! Thanks Lori and Gordon!!

Everything you need is here!

The house was fantastic and has everything you could ever want or need in a vacation rental. Great family space, both inside and out. Lori and Gordon were wonderful Hosts. Fully stocked kitchen with every utensil you need. My sister and I started playing a game to identify any object we could imagine that we wouldn't find. I actually shared that with Lori after checking out, saying that I needed a Band-Aid and suggested a first aid kit. She came back with a picture of one that was in a closet we hadn't looked in! Rats!! LOL. I highly recommend this property if your travels bring you to Crystal River or Homosassa, Florida.

We have stayed at many VRBOS over the past years, even owned one ourselves. This home is so beautiful, so well stocked, comfortable, clean and just top notch overall. Outdoor area with games and cooking area a plus. Great communication with host. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

We moved to Florida in 2020 after exploring the nation in a RV. Crystal River became our home because it's a sleepy fishing town that offers diverse outdoor activities. We want to share this experience with others so we offer the house for short term rentals. Our goal is for each guest to feel at home and make lots of memories.

We chose the neighborhood because it's close to many things in Crystal River and Homosassa but yet nestled in a stable community. You can walk, jog, bike the neighborhood or hang out in the backyard after a day of activities.

Fun 'n Sun is designed to be a Home Away from Home. The house is set up with many "spaces" so folks can gather together or escape for quiet time. The outside is set up for doing many things to enjoy Florida weather. Many extras are provided in case you want to cook a full meal or forgot something - it's probably in the house.
