Overall property was ok. The AC needs some work. It's very loud, it sounds like a jet engine. Could use some better pillows for sure.

we are on the beach level and sometimes it happens. there is always some spray to take care of it

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The property was exactly as pictured and described by the host, and we especially loved the easy beach access. The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated having plenty of towels as well as the beach equipment available for us to use.There were a few downsides, however. We encountered quite a few bugs, including roaches, and the property was not as clean as we had expected upon arrival. Additionally, the washing machine was not working during our stay, so we had to take our laundry elsewhere to be washed.Despite these issues, we had a nice vacation and appreciated the location and amenities. With a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this would be an excellent place to stay.

This is a nice house in an older building that needs to be updated. It is located directly on the beach. There is no traffic noise, amazing in such a busy area. Definitely worth staying here. The owners are very considerate and prompt in responding.

We could get used to this. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Everything as stated in the listing. Direct access to the beach and beach path was not at all exaggerated. 5-10 steps. Made for a very relaxing vacation.

Excellent position right on the beachfront.Good kitchen, but property has seen better days, furniture bit dated with delaminated kitchen cabinet doors, generally clean but missed some cleaning, glasses, cups and cutlery mismatch of odds and ends. Decoration ok but some parts quite dirty such as around sockets etc. Shower downstairs was excellent but upstairs shower quite poor in power and ease of operation.

I absolutely love this beach house! This is my second time booking with this amazing family! The staff is very nice and prompt! The view is to die for! And I would recommend anyone looking for amazing views great prices and great service to book!!! I will try to book with them every time I come to Miami! Which is twice yearly! I can’t wait to book again! Thanks for the hospitality! Sincerely the Smiths!

Quiet family retreat right on the beach

This was exactly what we were looking for -- a quiet place with excellent beach access, the ability to cook, and not too far from downtown Miami and other activities.

The room was not clean. The air conditioner was leaking in the ceiling, down the wall, down the stairs, and to the lower level. The ceiling had pieces of drywall hanging from it. It had an obvious mildew/mold smell. We tried contacting the owners but the provided phone numbers did not work. The check in desk was successful contacting the host. We requested a full refund and left.

The condo is in the perfect location and perfect for my little family. It does have some wear and tear, but that doesn’t bother us. The boardwalk, beach access and all the amenities were perfect for us. We could go on our runs and super close to the beach!

Amazing view! What a gem!

Despite being an older property, it had updated bathrooms. It also had amazing views and was right next to the beach! I would definitely stay here again!

The check-in process was pretty frustrating. The host didn’t provide any check-in information ahead of time, so I had to contact him twice and eventually reach out to VRBO. He only responded after VRBO contacted him. He mentioned there was a medical emergency, which I completely understand can happen, but I had also tried reaching out about four hours before check-in without any response.The place itself was mostly just somewhere to sleep at night, though the view was beautiful. Unfortunately, there was mold in the bathroom shower, which definitely needs attention. There also weren’t any checkout instructions provided. We planned to wash the towels and bed sheets before leaving, but there wasn’t any detergent available.Overall, I’d give it about a 3-star experience. Nothing personal against the host — better communication and some improvement to the bathroom would make a big difference.

We came for a sister trip. The location is a 10/10–right in beach and boardwalk to run or walk! The amentities/place was adequate & clean but a little run down. You are are a mile or less from many places to buy groceries or eat etc. The complex (old hotel) that houses the condo unit is very outdated and a quirky/gritty vibe (ie random establishments/stores in the basement and just an odd vibe. I will say though, also houses in the basement of complex is a Turkish bath that has a cult following and my sisters said was incredible. All in all, an amazing location, adequate condo, and an odd vibe if in the lobby. Miami Beach was amazing
